ELEMIS Beauty Heroes
If you’re looking for some ELEMIS beauty recommendations, you’ve come to the right place. Featuring both best-sellers and new releases, this is a guide to introduce you to some of the ELEMIS beauty heroes.
I love ELEMIS, and I have been using products from their skincare range on an on-off basis for about almost 7 years, and I’m sure you will agree that ELEMIS products are worth every penny.
ELEMIS | The Experts In Skincare
ELEMIS is a highly scientific beauty brand, and as experts in skincare, they have invested in ways to help you drastically improve your skin.
As well as offering highly effective beauty products, each ELEMIS concession at department stores offers facial treatments.
Before relaxing in to your facial treatment, they provide a unique SkinLab consultation which takes a close look at the condition of your skin to personalise your facial. This is to determine which of their products will benefit you the most. Be prepared to see your skin in a way you’ve never seen it before!
During my visit to the ELEMIS counter, here are some that I was recommended:
Elemis Pro-Collagen Starter Collection Gift Set
If you’ve always wanted to try something from ELEMIS, let is be something from their Pro-Collagen range.
This nice little 4 -piece gift set is a great introductory starter kit for anyone who is new to the brand. It includes:
Pro-Collagen Advanced Eye Treatment, Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm, Pro-Collagen Marine Cream with SPF 30, and a pair Pro-Collagen Hydra Gel Eye Mask – all in a convenient travel size.
The key ingredient in ELEMIS Pro-Collagen range is Padina Pavonica, a brown algae which has been clinically proven to have anti-ageing properties. This tightens, firms, plumps out fine lines, and hydrates.
ELEMIS Pro-Collagen Marine Cream
This was voted Vogue’s Beauty Hero in 2017 and I believe it deserves every accolade.
The suppleness, firmness, texture, and hydration of your skin will improve within the a fortnight of use.
ELEMIS’ best-selling anti-ageing has been giving this special makeover in support of Women For Women International in an initiative to change women’s lives.
Through sales of the limited edition Pro-Collagen Marine Cream and a donation of £35,000, ELEMIS have teamed up with Women For Women International, an organisation started in 1993 to help women survivors of war to rebuild their lives.
4 products from left to right
ELEMIS Papaya Enzyme Peel (£33)
The Papaya Enzyme Peel is a non-abrasive cream exfoliator (suitable for sensitive skin) and is formulated with fruit acids (papaya and pineapple) to gently buff away the dead skin cells to reveal a brighter, softer, more radiant appearance.
It doesn’t smell as tropical as I imagined, but it’s really lovely a fresh all the same. (Top tip: Don’t forget to protect your skin with a good quality SPF the days after using a peel.)
ELEMIS Targeted Toning Body Moisturiser* (£75)
Ppretty pricy for a body moisturiser. That’s probably what you’re thinking right now?
Clinically proven to reduce the appearance of cellulite, this Targeted Toning Body Moisturiser shows results in 8 weeks when used twice daily. During an Independent user trials, 100% of the product testers said that the appearance of skin had improved, the dimpled texture of the skin had reduced, and that their skin felt firmer.
There is a bit of knack of using this body moisturiser. Use on the areas you want to target (mine would be inner thighs), the warmth of your hands will turn the cream in to an oil, you have to massage, pinch, cup, and knuckle in to the skin to stimulate circulation and stimulate drainage for best results.
It sounds like hard work but at least you can do it in the comfort of your own home and it saves your money on massages (as nice as they are, I just can’t afford to go on a regular basis) and cosmetics procedures (it’s not for me, I’m scared of going under the knife!).
ELEMIS Peptide4 Restoring Night Recovery Cream-Oil (£49)
After reading rave reviews, I decided to give this a go, and now I’m on my second bottle.
If you ever feel like your skin has gone through a day of stress (city pollution, lack of water, tiredness), this restoring night cream-oil allows the skin to recover during the night, so it almost “re-sets” in a way.
The restoring formula includes oils, omega-3, antioxidants and vitamin E, this potent but light cream-oil rebalances and repairs the skin while you get your beauty sleep.
ELEMIS Pro-Collagen Marine Oil* (£67)
Facial oils are an essential step in my skincare routine, it helps to protect, condition, and balance the oil (oil on oil is very balancing, I promise!).
This was kindly sent to me by the babes at ELEMIS but I’ve passed it on to my mum because Pro-Collagen Marine Oil is more suitable to older women (from say, mid 40’s) as it targets wrinkles. My mum can make full use of this, while I’ll stick to something less potent.
I sampled this at the beauty counter and all you need are two drops for the entire face. It has a light, water-like consistency, and glides on to the skin without leaving a greasy residue. Maximising the marine ingredients, this provides a boost of hydration, plumps the skin with moisture whilst reducing the appearance of wrinkles.

ELEMIS Life Elixirs Sleep Candle* (£36)
Technically now a “beauty” hero, but any excuse to show off my newest candle – and this one just so happens to make my room smell like a luxury spa.
The Life Elixirs Sleep Candle from ELEMIS is to help promote a good night’s sleep, it contains 12 essentials oils to help you sleep well, de-stress, and relax.
I don’t sleep well at the best of times, but now that I’ve returned to self-employment, I find myself awake at stupid hours. I’ll either be working on my laptop until 3am or I’ll worrying about something or other.
Lets face it, a candle isn’t going to make me conk out (I’m not one of those people who falls asleep as soon as their head hits the pillow!). But it does create a nice atmosphere to allow my mind to settle, and help me relax and unwind.
