A few weeks ago, I came home to a lovely parcel filled with beauty samples. The commute on that particular day was particularly stressful because of a train strike, but coming home to a parcel from Latest In Beauty* cheered me up no end.
As you’ve probably gathered from my content archive, I’ve certainly tried and tested my share of beauty boxes, the kind that curates a selection of beauty products for the user in hope that they will repurchase the items. There are so many to choose from but sadly, not all of them succeed in getting it right. A lot of them are becoming quite repetitive now.

Latest In Beauty | The Beauty Box You Won’t Be Disappointed With

As I explored the contents of my Latest In Beauty parcel – this edition for April was in collaboration with The Perfume Society – I was excited about every single item inside. Every single one. If you want to treat yourself to something beauty related this month, you want to check out their latest beauty box… TRUST ME. It’s a Beauty and The Beast themed one. HURRY UP AND SNAP ONE UP! PRONTO!
The box that I received was in partnership with The Perfume Society* (£22) which focuses on skincare and bodycare that doesn’t only feel great on you but is a treat for all the senses.

In it, you receive a cosmetic bag filled with 10 deluxe and travel sized beauty samples worth £75. From brands like Balance Me, ThisWorks, Aromatherapy Associates, and Aurelia, every single product is as exciting as the next, I was so ready for a weekend of pampering!

MOA Fortifying Green Bath Potion

I’ve featured this amazing Green Bath Potion before and it remains one of my favourite bath products to use for when you’re feeling under the weather. The potion is made with peppermint and fennel, and with it’s therapeutic powers, it soothes achey muscles, a bunged up nose, relieves headaches, and help you relax and unwind after a tiring day.

Aurelia Aromatic Repair and Brighten Hand Cream

A luxurious hand cream which features vetiver, ylang ylang, patchouli and lavender. It does a great job to moisturise but it also promises to diminish the signs of pigmentation.

Weleda Pomegranate Body Lotion

This body lotion is made of pomegranate seed oil, shea butter, and apricot kernal oil – which sounds like it would be buttery and greasy – but it’s actually very light. It has a fresh, fruit scent of orange and warm vanilla essential oils, and is suitable for vegans.

Aromatherapy Associates Renewing Rose Body Cream

I have tried this before so I would’ve loved to have received something else from the Aromatherapy Associates brand – but it is actually a lovely product so I don’t really mind. Out of the two body creams included in this beauty box, I prefer Aromatherapy Associates Renewing Rose Body Cream as it dries quicker than the Weleda Pomegranate Body Lotion. I do have a thing for rose scented beauty products at the moment, though!

ThisWorks Sleep Plus Trouble Shooter

Another great brand – but currently, I don’t have any use for it but if you have particular troublesome skin on neglected areas such as upper arms, elbows, and knees – then this might be good for you. It takes care of dry, stubborn patches whilst the scent relaxes you and promotes a good night sleep. I might change my mind in the Summer when I find myself baring my knees and elbows… but for now, it isn’t a product that needs to be in my daily routine.

Sukin Detoxifying Clay Masque

Words that I love seeing on the labels of beauty products are: vegan-friendly, parabens-free, and sulfate-free. YAAAS. This face mask is all of those three things. I haven’t actually used this yet – I have a very large stash of facial products and I’m trying to get through them all without wasting any. This almond-scented face mask which is blended with kale, baobab and parsley, it’s promises to be like a boost of nutrition for your skin!

Balance Me Collagen Boost Restore And Replenish Face Cream

This hydrating cream features a hyaluronic acid, tri-peptide and blackberry leaf extract which is a powerful anti-oxidant. There are so many products to choose from in the Balance Me, it can be confusing – but I’ve tried a lot of their products via beauty boxes like this one, and I often repurchase the full size product.

Ultrasun Face SPF 30

SPF has come a long way from it’s oily, greasy days. Ultrasun is a FANTASTIC suncare range, and I can reassure you that Ultrasun Face SPF 30 will sink in to skin like your regular face cream. I have been wearing it every day since I got it, I apply it in the morning before I put my make-up on. It performs like a face cream, primer while it also protects from sun exposure.

Rosalena Rock & Rose Face Oil

I swear by facial oils but I can never get through a whole bottle before it ‘goes off’ (they usually have a 6 month shelf life) so even though the bottle in this beauty box looks really tiny, I think it’s the perfect size. Less chance of waste (and boy, do I hate beauty products going to waste!). Rosalena Rock & Rose Face Oil is made with a moisturising blend of rose otto, geranium, jasmine, and sweet orange essential oils, so you can imagine how nice is smells. Makes my skin looks dewy and healthy too!

Amie New Leaf Deep Pore Exfoliating Polish

I’ve said it before, Amie is a wonderful brand. It’s effective and so affordable. Their New Leaf Deep Pore Exfoliating Polish is gentle enough to use on the most sensitive of skin. It features mango, cocoa seed butters and almond oil. It has a punchy mango scent, it smells delicious.
