Rimmel Brow The Way Shake Filling Powders Review

I can’t keep up with all the new brow product releases, it is definitely something the beauty brands are focussing all their efforts on right now!
The new offering from Rimmel promises easy application for thick, full brows with their Brow This Way Shake Filling Powder. Available in four shades (Blonde, Medium Brown, Dark Brown, and Soft Black), the small pots contain loose soft powder. To apply, you simply shake to disperse the powder and ensure it sticks to the applicator.

The slim sponge applicator allows to precision and sculpt, it almost applies like a felt tip pen. The powders are pigmented and I do like this but unfortunately there isn’t a shade that suits me. I have sparse brows so the Soft Black is too dark, and the browns doesn’t match me. I normally use a taupe grey so it would be super amazing if were to extend the shade range and include a taupe!
For now, I could wipe the excess off the black and apply with a light hand, but I have got a bit carried away the past few times that I’ve used Brow This Way! I’ve ended up with two slugs on my face, haha!

It’s effective for filling in the gaps and for getting that full, Cara Delevingne style brows, though, and it’s long lasting too.
Luckily, Rimmel’s Brow This Way Shake Filling Powders also double up as an eyeliner so you can sweep it across the upper line to define or under the lash line for a sultry, smokey look.

  1. I don't think I'd get on with these brow powders – I'd get carried away and would end up applying way too much! I much prefer using a precise pencil or using powders with a fine, angled brush to mimic the look of individual hairs. I like the fact you can use them as eyeliners too, though!
