Love Me Beauty April 2017

This has been my favourite Love Me Beauty* edition for quite some time and reminds me of what Love Me Beauty used to be like.
This month, the main brand they’re putting in the limelight is 100% vegan friendly Ecotools. It looks like that Ecotools have gone through a bit of a re-brand and I can see that they’ve caught on to the beauty blender trend which is great!

From this month’s Love Me Beauty menu, you can pick from a small range of Ecotools make-up tools which includes a six-piece starter set, a full powder brush, a contour perfecting applicator, and a perfecting blender.
I haven’t latched on to the beauty blender trend as much as others, I’m still very loyal to the stippling brush (my fave make up tool ever!) but there’s no denying that this way of applying make-up isn’t just a fad, it’s here to stay.
The bit that I haven’t got the hang on is the fact that you have to run a beauty blender under a running tap and use the sponge damp. Instead of having the desired effect, it always seems to lift my foundation off my face. But you can use Eco tools Perfect Blender wet or dry, so that’s a massive bonus for me.

Living Proof Prime Style Extender

Here’s a hair primer that claims to repel oil and dirt to keep your hair clean for days. Music to my ears, that is! Distributing this cream over the roots and lengths of the hair promises to prime hair for longer wear. This sounds too good to be true but if it works, I’ll rush out to buy a full size tube of this!

Dr Bagi Intensive Treatment Mask

There’s a lot of science and technology behind Dr Bragi’s skincare and this intensive treatment mask is developed for stressed, tired, sensitive skin. It also targets redness and dehydration. It sounds like the very thing my skin needs right now. After over-indulging over Easter, my skin feels so horrible and I need something to “reset” it.

Amie Skincare

I haven’t used Amie Skincare in years but I still remember how brilliant and effective the Morning Clear Purifying Facial Wash is. Subscribers of Love Me Beauty can choose an Amie Skincare duo with their beauty points. You’ll receive the face wash and a matte-finish moisturiser. Amie Skincare is suitable for vegans and vegetarians, and is free from parabens.
Love Me Beauty monthly subscription costs £10 a month (plus p&p). You get up to 60 credits to choose any of the beauty products from the menu.

Use code ‘tempsec20‘ for 20% off your first month!
