I receive complementary Love Me Beauty* boxes on a monthly basis, but believe me when I say that nothing in blogging is ever free. When it’s busier than usual, beauty boxes are bumped down in my list of things to do and I feel guilty for omitting LMB from my blog – which is exactly what I’ve done recently. Not that any blogger should guarantee coverage in exchange for “free” gifts but I have loved this brand of beauty box in the past, and I want to continue supporting them.
Love Me Beauty – The Best Bits
I have combined my favourite samples that I have received in the past three months in to one single post. As with most beauty sample boxes, there are some products that I love and some that I know I won’t ever use. So consider this a highlight of the last three Love Me Beauty boxes to give you a taster of what their recent editions have been like.
Ellis Faas Lip Packs
This is such an unusual way of sampling lipstick and I actually love it. Each of the four tubes are a different formula and finishes, so we have Creamy Lips, Milky Lips, Hot Lips, and Glazed Lips.
The tubes are quite small but you only need to use a small amount for a bold lip. I had never heard of Ellis Faas until now so it’s a great discovery. It’s also great that we got to try not one, not two, but FOUR shades too.
Kat Von D Studded Lipstick
Make Up Forever
Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution
Talking of lip colour, I’ve had the opportunity to try a few other fab lipsticks via Love Me Beauty.
Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipsticks are great (and particularly CUTE in it’s miniature version!) Underage Red is a “matte fire engine red” which is a great description – you know exactly what you’re going to get!
Make Up Forever Artist Rouge Mat shade 401 is a limited edition hot red. It’s has a high pigment formula and glides on the lips like a dream.
Charlotte Tilbury provided a pack of samples of the Matte Revolution lip colours. There’s such a buzz about Matte Revolution lipsticks so I was excited about these. The samples themselves can only be used once, it contains a single, thin layer of the lipstick which transfers on to lips.
Ultrasun
SPF has become a daily skincare essential for me since I started using acid peels so this is a welcome sample. Ultrasound Glimmer is a SPF 20 shimmering sun lotion which is suitable for sensitive skin.
Perricone MD Blue Plasma Cleansing Treatment
If you’ve ever heard of this brand, you will have seen Blue Plasma Cleansing Treatment. The name of the product sounds so intriguing! It’s basically their version of micellar water and you apply it in the same method by using a cotton pad.
Nuxe Nuxexellence Detox
To be used at night, this cream can be used on it’s own or under your usual night cream. It energises skin cells over night so that you wake up with great looking skin the morning after. Nuxe is such a fantastic skincare brand, my skin takes to their product so well.
Omorovicza Moor Cream Cleanser
Detoxing and revitalising, this cleanser promises to pep up tired-looking skin. It’s purifying formula is developed to remove dirt and make-up and deep cleanses your pores. I have only tried 3 Omorovicza products before but it’s a name that I’m hearing a lot on other beauty blogs and YouTubers. It’s great to be able to try their stuff through beauty subscription boxes before committing to buying the full size version.

Love Me Beauty monthly subscription costs £10 a month (plus p&p). You get up to 60 credits to choose any of the beauty products from the menu.
Use code ‘tempsec20‘ for 20% off the first month! Read my other blogpost featuring Love Me Beauty here.
I love the idea of having 'credits' and choosing what you want. Any beauty box containing Charlotte Tilbury is high on my list!
