Hello Rose Make Up Set | Pixi By Petra

This 3-piece beauty kit sets you up for a simple, fresh look this Spring. I can’t exactly get away with just using these three products (oh, I wish I could!) but it does remind me that I can keep things basic and that these three gorgeous Pixi By Petra can help!

The Hello Rose Kit* from Pixi By Petra (£20) includes a Glow Booster in Pink Pearl, Beauty Blush Duo in Rose Gold, and a LipLift Max in Sheer Rose. I love how the shades in this beauty set are actually rose and not just any old pink.

The Glow Booster is a liquid illuminator can be used all over the face as a radiant primer or on areas in which you’d highlight. It’s gives a soft, subtle glow so some of you might not consider it a good enough highlight but it’s nice to have this as a base and then apply something with more of an lustre. 

This is my favourite product in the kit, I just love blushers and I think it adds so much to your make-up look. The two-toned, sheer mineral-infused Beauty Blush adds a faint touch of rose pink. You can swirl a blusher brush to get an equal amount of both tones or use a small brush on each half separately. As you can see, one has the rose coloured pigment and the other is a highlighter powder.

This works in a similar way as Soap & Glory’s Sexy Motherpucker Lipgloss where it features peptides that plumps the lips to give the appearance of a fuller look. The ingredients also includes aloe vera, jojoba oil, and chamomile to soften. The consistency of the gloss is thick and gloopy but it is not overly sticky or uncomfortable on lips. Sheer Rose is a really pretty pink nude.
