Birchbox collaborates with Boden in April
For April 2017, Birchbox* has collaborated with British clothing brand Boden. The theme of this month’s edition is ‘Be Bold and Beautiful’ – encouraging everyone to be bold and beautiful on our own terms.
Baija Paris Creme Moana
The packaging design of this mini tube of body lotion is gorgeous! With a nourishing blend of shea and cupuacu butters, coconut, and jojoba wax, this cream promises to keep dry skin nourished.
Polaar IcePure Gentle Scrub with Arctic Cotton
I have really enjoyed using Polaar products as of late so it was great to see this sample in this month’s Birchbox! This body scrub contains an ingredient called Arctic Cotton which is known for it’s moisturising properties.
Amika The Shield Style Extending Spray
I like this haircare brand but I am always skeptical about these ‘shield’ sprays because you can’t see the benefits or results, you just have to trust that it works. With my hair being in such a state at the moment, I’m willing to give anything a go. This is a heat activated spray that protects your hair from heat, UV rays, and pollution. You apply it to damp or dry hair before blow drying.
Nip + Fab Colour Correcting Concealers
Each subscriber will receive one of the 4 Nip + Fab Colour Correctors. There’s an orange shade that brightens dark circles, a green one that neutralises blemishes and redness, a purple one that eliminates yellow tones, and a yellow that simply acts like a subtle highlighter.
I received the yellow one which seems like the more universal, most easiest option to put in beauty sample boxes but as I don’t think I’ll get any use out of applying a yellow toned products to my yellow toned skin, I may pass this on to a friend who will be able to use it.
I will, however, be checking out the green and purple one. I definitely need a concealer that magically diminish redness around my nose and chin area.
Manna Kadar Cosmetics High Definition Powder
This beautiful, translucent powder is suitable for all skin tones. It mattifies your skin and locks in your make-up. I usually use a powder like this on my forehead and chin, it works a treat for temporarily getting rid of shine!
