Ciate Pretty Stix | Moisturising & Conditioning Lip Colour

With my lips being so annoyingly dry over the past few months, it has been a right ‘mare to find a lipstick that I can wear constantly without irritation. It hasn’t stopped me wearing lipstick but it’s always preferable to have one at hand that’s not only highly moisturising but low maintenance too – one that I can apply very quickly and without using a lip liner.
Sounds like I’m being picky, but I have found that highly moisturising lipstick that’s also low maintenance to apply in the form of Ciate London Pretty Stix*.

Usually associated with nail polish, this is the first time I’ve the make-up range from Ciate.
The formula of their Pretty Stix is packed with hydrating Murumuru Butter and Amino Acid to leave your lips nourished and soft all day long. It’s conditioning, creamy, buttery and high in pigment with a juicy, glossy finish. I know that glossy finishes are not the lip trend of the moment but there’s no chance that I can wear mattes right now!

I would compare it to a lot of the lip crayons that I’ve tried which have a ‘jelly’ gel feel to it. In fact, they’re fairly close to ever-beautiful YSL Rouge Volupte Shine except Pretty Stix packs more of a (colour) punch.
The coverage and colour pay off is way better than any lip crayon I’ve used before, and that’s what I love about Pretty Stix (as well as the moisturising formula, of course!).
I tried it in shades Vintage Blush (nude pink), RomCom (cool toned fuchsia) and Heartbreaker (deep purple) but there are a currently ten different shades in the Pretty Stix collection.

Pretty Stix retails at £16 which is perhaps on the slightly pricier side for a lip product but ASOS are selling Ciate London Pretty Stix at the sales price of £8.50 and £11.00. They are worth trying if, like me, you’re suffering from dry lips at the moment.

I've got awful dry lips at the minute too so I might have to try these out! I like how they're still full of colour despite being more moisturising x

    Always, Alice
