I think these photos were taken just at the end of Autumn, just before the leaves went brown and started falling to the ground. I caught a cold that week but managed to drag myself away from bed to take a walk in the park, breathe in fresh air, and get on top of my work. I absolutely hate being stuck in bed, it really depresses me, so the walk did me a whole lotta good. I highly recommend it if you’re feeling a bit groggy (although perhaps don’t pick a day that’s wet and windy).

Winter Coat

Everytime I have worn this light grey toyshop jacket this Winter, all that goes through my mind is “Kinda regret buying this coat that has no buttons on’, haha. Even though it’s not an ideal winter coat (unlike this camel coat from Gap), I really love it though, it goes with everything and it makes my outfit looks that bit more stylish. As expected, the fabric has stretches and the stitching on the folded cuffs of the sleeves have all come undone, and I only bought it 6 months ago. Typical Topshop.

Scarf, Leggings, and Handbag*

All three of these are from Avon, they sent me a mystery parcel of fashion items and thankfully, they all suit me! I wore a black tunic top underneath, but unfortunately, there was no chance of me taking my coat off just for the sake of showing a plain black top when it was kind of 3 degrees and I was sick as a parrot.

The leggings have a rose gold sparkle to them and I even wore these on Christmas Day (the waistband ended being waaaay too tight after eating non-stop for 12 solid hours.) But it reminds me of the days when I was little and Mum used to dress me, I was always in sparkly tights on special occasions (ie. school discos)! I remember my favourite pair were the white ones that had glittery embroidery stars on the ankle.

I’ve been living in this huge, oversized scarf for months. People always comment on how cosy it looks and it is indeed mega cosy. I always buy big scarves from Primark because of how cheap they are but they don’t last long; the material is either too scratchy or the fluffy material just sheds and sticks to everything and anything. But this massive scarf from Avon is here to stay… but now that we’re almost in to Spring, I’m about to pack it away (*sadface*). I’m already excited to wear it but lets not wish for next Winter to come too soon. I’m so done with this cold. Winter be gone.

I don’t have that many big bags because I’m usually too lazy to lugg a load of shit around on a daily basis but if I know I’m out of the house all day, or travelling/going somewhere by train for the day, then a big bag is an essential.

This lovely Alison bag from Avon has plenty of space and compartments inside (great for storing a cardi, make-up, work stuff, and most importantly, lots of snacks!), and comes with a small clutch purse, plus a detachable strap (not shown in pics), those “add ons” are extremely helpful, and such a bonus for an affordable price tag (£25 in the sale).

  1. i'm really into grey at the minute, so i'm also really liking this outfit! the leggings are so pretty and so is the coat (although, i do agree that coats without buttons can be really impractical!)! xx
