Love Me Beauty – Beauty Subscription Box

Blogging about an August beauty subscription box in September like the rebel I am. Uhmmm, not really.

At the risk of sounding like ‘the dog ate my homework’, I misplaced the memory card that these photos were taken on so it had to be put on hold until I found it. In the end, I just re-shot them, and I actually like how the photos look the second time round.

The beauty box I received from Love Me Beauty* in August was sooo good, I didn’t want to miss this out on my blog, so here it is – better late than never…

Vita Liberata Gradual Tanning Lotion

Bearing in mind that this had a summer theme in mind, the August box contained two self tanning gradual tanning lotion from Vita Liberata. One is for body and the other specifically for face. I have been using gradual tans this summer, they’re such a great way to get a natural looking tan. 

NUXE Prodigieux Scented Shower Oil

If you love the dry oils from NUXE, you will love this shower oil. It is very luxurious, so I’m using the 30ml tube sparingly! But with most products from NUXE, a small amount goes a long way. It’s a silky, creamy oil with gold shimmers in it (but don’t worry, you won’t come out of the shower looking like the golden girl from James Bond). The shower oil turns in to a milky oil which moisturise your skin. It smells great and I will be adding this treat in full size to my Christmas list this year!

NUXE Huile Prodigieux Oil

If you are subscribed to any beauty box, you will be very familiar with this dry oil. It pops up more than any other sample! This shimmery dry oil can be used on body, face, and hair. I received a box that was selected for me (which I’m more than happy with) but luckily, with Love Me Beauty, you can pick the content of your box, so you can curve this one if you wish.

Percy & Reed Hair Perfectly Perfecting Wonder Balm

I love Percy & Reed but I’ve not yet got around to try this their Wonder Balm yet which promises to help you style your hair with ease and control. If you follow me on Snapchat, you will see that my haircare shelf is filling up. For some reason, the sample that I have received the most this year has been hair care. I have about 30 on the shelf in the spare room, and approximately 10 bottles of shampoo and conditioner… I really won’t need to buy hair care for quite some time! Can’t wait to open this Wonder Balm and try it though, but maybe I’ll wait until my hair has grown first!

MADARA Cellular Repair Serum

I was very happy to see this as I’ve recently been trying a couple of other skincare from MADARA. This is a rich serum, which you apply before moisturiser, increases the cellular renewal cycle and reduces the appearance of wrinkle and fine line. It is, perhaps, more suitable for mature skin. Although if fine lines are a concern, this is a fantastic serum and the travel sized tube is only £20 if you were to buy it on it’s own.

ECOTOOLS Brush Set

Saving the best ’till last! I think this brush set might’ve been a pretty popular item amongst all Love Me Beauty subscribers! The 6 piece starter set includes lash and brow groomer, eyeshadow brush, blush brush, concealer brush, and an angled eyeliner brush. The are made with soft synthetic bristles, and recycled material.
