One who year has passed! This time last year, I was spending my first week at the Soap & Glory office. I had my interview, moved to London, and started work all within a week! I am FREAKING out at how that was a year ago, I still remember it like it was yesterday!
The fond memories of seeing how incredibly hard the team work on the products and projects will forever make me a SUPER fan of Soap & Glory! Knowing the individuals who makes the magic happen, behind the product development, packaging design, the quirky puns, the website… it only means that in my (loyal) eyes (albeit a pair of biased eyes!), they can’t do no wrong. I adore the brand in every way!

New Cosmetics Launch from Soap & Glory
I love knowing what awesome products they’re releasing, it’s exciting! So when this bunch of fab make-up arrived a couple of weeks ago, it was such a lovely surprise! I mean, just take a look at it! Squeeeee! HOW BLOOMIN’ CUTE DO THEY LOOK!

Known for their cute stand-out-from-the-crowd packaging and pun-tastic tongue-in-cheek product names, the newly released make-up does not let any Soaper fans down! If you pop down to Boots in store, you will find 2 brand new eyeshadow palettes, 3 new blushers and a new liquid eyeliner pen.

Supercat Skinny* – Liquid Eyeliner (£6.50)
Let’s start off with a familiar one! The original Supercat is an popular liquid eyeliner and it is already a staple product in my make-up bag. It is also available in Supercat Fat Eyeliner, but Soap & Glory have added a brand new Supercat Skinny to the collection. With an super-fine tip, it’s their skinniest tipped eyeliner pen yet and it allows you to be more precise when you apply it. Go from the inner corners of your eye and stroke outwards to finish with a flick.
Supercat Skinny is water resistant, quick-drying, non-flaky and has a glossy finish. A bargain at £6.50!

Soap & Glory Eyeshadow Palette* (£11)
Kick Into Neutral: This eyeshadow palette features ten gorgeous everyday shades. The shades range from beige, browns and greys. It is a warm palette and all eyeshadows in Kick Into Neutral have a shimmer to them.

The Ultimatte Collection: I ALWAYS go for matte eyeshadows so this is so perfect for me. I’ve been using it since I got it and it is so great for the daytime because the shades are so soft and subtle! It looks pigmented in the photo below but it actually isn’t once you blend the powders in, and for that reason, it wouldn’t be a palette that I’d use for nights out.

As the shades aren’t very buildable, both eyeshadow palettes are fantastic for anyone who likes a softer make-up looks or anyone who is beginner in to beauty and is not that confident in applying eyeshadow.
The packaging says that these eyeshadows don’t flake (although I don’t think eyeshadow powders tend to flake?), no fade and no crease. They are a velvety powder that glides on, so you sweep on multiple shades layer by layer and just blend, blend, blend away until your hearts content!

Made You Blush* – Blushers (£9)
These are AMAZING! And they’re very pigmented! They come in three shades; Rosy Chic (a matte pink-peach), Twinkle Rose (a pink with gold shimmer), and Cheeky Pink (a matte bright pink). It’s features an AIR MAGIC™ Technology for a light, breathable finish.
The cute blusher compact includes a mirror and a brush – very handy! And because they’re very pigmented, you will only need to swirl the brush around the velvety-smooth blush once or twice.

I love Cheeky Pink for a noticeable pop of bright pink, and Rosy Chic for a subtle nude-peach. But Twinkle Rose (pictured above) is my current favourite, it is so pretty on the skin. Don’t be scared of the sight of the gold shimmers, it’s actually an extremely delicate touch of shimmer once it is applied onto your cheeks. It’s a very pretty pink with a pearlescent finish that perfectly highlights the apple of your cheeks to give you a healthy radiant glow!
You can find the full Soap & Glory range at Boots in-store or online!
