I’ve never tried a pair of mirrored lens sunglasses before but what better way to give this trend a go than with a pair of rose gold ones! These sunnies are the Cleopatras from Le Specs
* at Jules B and they are not for shrinking violets (which I have to admit, I sometimes am!).
This Summer’s MUST-HAVE accessory
The downfall of choosing a pair of sunglasses on the Internet without trying them on first is you never know how they’re going to look on. Nothing really prepares you for how they truly look on you until you try them on for yourselves, but I did look up photos of models wearing them to get a better idea of what they look like when worn.
They are slightly bigger than what I normally go for and I totally expected that. I used my RayBan as to gauge the sizing. For RayBans, I would usually go for the 49mm lens width which are the perfect size for my face. The Le Specs Cleopatra are 52mm and the extra bit at the top is what makes them appear larger.
Rose Gold Mirrored Sunglasses
These are trendy, sexy, and bold sunglasses. They’re shiny, rose gold, with pink mirrored lenses. If you want to stand out, and make a fashion statement, the Le Specs Cleopatras are the one.
I can only pull them off when I’m wearing certain outfits. They’re not my go-to casual sunnies but a pair which I opt for when I am a little more dressy or on holiday where the accessories are kind of in-situ. Just imagine how great they’d look on holiday, in your swimwear, by the pool. They look absolutely awesome with a bright coral lipstick too. I am sure you’ll see me wearing these in an outfit posts soon. I am struggling to get someone to help me with photography but I am working on it! Maybe I will just have to go back to my old friends – the trusty tripod and the plain white wall! Hiya wall! :-/
Le Specs are available from Jules B and there are a huge range of trendy sunglasses to choose from. The prices start from £27.99, and the Cleopatras retail at £74.99. The rose gold ones are currently out of stock but fingers crossed they’ll be back online on Jules B very soon. If the rose gold aren’t for you, the Cleopatras also come in black too
