I don’t actually like wearing make-up and try to get away with as little as possible. When it’s sunnier, warmer, and brighter, I turn to bareMinerals for all of my make-up needs due to it’s weightless and comfort on skin.
New Make-Up For Spring From bareMinerals
Due to how light and comfortable their make-up is on my skin, that makes bareMinerals my to total go-to for this time of year.
One of my favourite base is their Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream which you can read about here. And their Well-Rested Face And Eye Brightener give skin a really healthy looking glow! But enough about my old favourites, let’s talk about the new products!

There’s a lot of mattifying gel primers flying around at the moment, most recently the one from Benefit, and now this lovely Blemish Remedy Mattifying Prep Gel from bareMinerals. What did I even do before I discovered primer?! How did I ever live without it?
This gel formula primes your skin, absorbs oils and reduces shine. It is indeed lightweight (yay to that!), non-sticky, dries immediately and has a matte finish for a smoother make-up application. The key ingredients are Aspen Bark and Tea Tree Oil which helps to keep the blemishes away!

I have been after a good concealer for a while. I want to start dabbing concealer on areas of concern rather than using BB Cream and foundation all over my face. But for that, I will need a concealer with a decent coverage and one that will last throughout the day.
This concealer from bareMinerals ticks those boxes. In this concealer, bareMinerals have used their newest innovation in serum technology featuring light-diffusing ingredient for a luminous coverage. It conceals dark circles, discolouration, blemishes and any other imperfections.
It’s quite a thick but smooth texture that blends in well. It’s not cakey or dry – but I might have to buy the next darker shade as the ‘Light’ is too pale for me.

Lash Domination Volumizing Mascara Petite Precision Brush*
£19.00
These days, mascaras seem to be all about the big, fancy brushes – but to be honest, those big ones scare me! I have short lashes so I’ve always gone for smaller mascara brushes and this new one from bareMinerals is exactly that! It even says so in the product title.
The spiel is that the wand is fanned out to 360º like a propellor to get in to the lashes from all angles. The 10-in-1 benefits of this mascara are (deep breath!): Volumizes, lengthens, thickens, seperates, lifts, last all day, mineral fortified, smudge-proof, clump resistant, and does not flake.
Lash Domination Ink Liner*
£19.00

This arrived at the perfect time as I have ran out of my favourite eyeliner and I am looking for a new one to try! It’s pigmented, has good lasting power and is water resistant. It is inky and is quite wet on the brush and on skin, so it doesn’t dry as quick as I’d like but… patience is a virtue!!
The brush is like a felt tip and has a thin shape which allows you to build the shape of your cat eye flick, starting from thin to thick. I love it, I just hope it doesn’t dry up as quickly as some of the other liquid felt tip eyeliner pens I’ve used!
bareMinerals is available from Boots, House Of Fraser, or directly from their own website.

  1. Oooh your pictures are pretty!

I've heard good things about the concealer and the liner looks great, shame it doesn't dry fast but if it lasts all day it'll be worth it! 😀

I like the spectrum brush in the picture. Love those brushes 🙂
