A fabulous selection of beauty products from Love Me Beauty arrived in the post earlier this week – and it was sure a lovely surprise to come back home to! Look how great these beauty products are!

Love Me Beauty | April Edition

Love Me Beauty* are really catching up to the big players within the beauty box sample industry. If you want to see how brilliant they have been recently, check out my past blogposts on previous Love Me Beauty boxes
In April’s edition, you get a make-up bag instead of a box and I can always do with another cosmetics bag to store my overspilling make-up! My Love Me Beauty bag was filled with 6 full or travel sized samples and one large Tangle Teezer brush.
Blending Sponge
I’ve heard a lot about how effective blending sponge in helping you to achieve a high definition, flawless look and so I’m very excited to be trying one for the first time! I don’t know what brand this blending sponge is as it comes in non-branded packaging.
I’ve been watching a few YouTube videos on how to use a blending sponge and have noticed that you actually run the sponge under cold water first? I’m a bit dubious about applying foundation with a damp make-up tool – but I’ll give it a go and see what happens!
Make Up Forever Aqua Eyes Eyeliner
YES to more eyeliners. I can’t get enough of them, they are my beauty must-have. I hate the way I look without eyeliner! This waterproof creamy eyeliner is in a dark, pigmented black that is still smudge-able but is also long lasting and waterproof.
Make Up Forever Step 1 Skin Equalizer
This is a primer has a similar texture as Benefit’s POREfessional in the sense that it’s silky and balmy, it feels slightly more oily than POREfessional, though. This type of primer smoothes and blurs imperfection on the skin which is great… until you apply on make-up. For me, using this primer makes my make-up slip off, unfortunately. But I will try it on it’s own for days where I want to wear less make-up and see if I can get away without wearing a liquid foundation on top.

Percy & Reed Dry Conditioner
I have tried this before courtesy of Love Me Beauty in December. A dry conditioner doesn’t work the same way as a dry shampoo, it doesn’t soak up oils but it does give extra care to your hair. If your hair is looking a bit dull and straggly (like mine!), Percy & Reed’s Dry Conditioner helpsto boosts the condition of your hair at your convenience giving your locks softness, gloss and shine.
Tangle Teezer Blow Styling Hair Brush
Remember when the original Tangle Teezer got a lot of buzz within the beauty industry a few years ago? I fell for the hype because the thought of pain-free brushing sounded extremely appealing to me but I was extremely disappointed with it as I found it hard to brush long hair with it. BUT… this Blow Styling Hair Brush from Tangle Teezer is definitely one that I can get on board with!
As you can see from it’s appearance, it’s completely different to the original. This is a large full paddle brush with a handle and it is designed with a Quick Dry Technology, eliminates frizz, and adds volume AND shine. I tried it this morning and I’m not too sure about the shine part – but it did make blow-drying my hair a lot easier.
The brush has plastic teeth rather than bristles (not as scary as it sounds. The brush won’t nibble at your scalp) but the teeth are compact at the base which I guess is designed to extract excess water.

Caudalie Micellar Cleansing Water
I am picky about cleansing water, and have many half used bottles in my room at the moment. I don’t want to replace my usual cleanser with a cleanser water but it sure is bloomin’ handy to have for lazy evenings. This is a small bottle so I’m sure I’ll be able to get through this in no time if I use it every day for the next 2 or 3 weeks. Caudalie Micellar Cleansing Water has a refreshing and uplifting scent of orange, lemon blossom, watermelon, and mint leaves.
Caudalie Huile Divine Oil
A mutli-use dry oil for face, body, and hair. To be honest, I won’t be using this on my face but I’d love to try it in my hair which is in such a sorry state at the moment (and has been for a year now!). Caudalie Divine Oil has a nourishing formula or grape seed oil, sesame, hibiscus and argan – all the right ingredients to help your skin (or hair) stay protected and moisturised.

  1. Beautiful subscription box! Looks like they did very well on the product selection. Caudalie's Divine Oil is so luxurious- I love its fragrance. A tip for the sponge is to spritz some MAC Fix+ or any other water-based spray onto it, works well too and it feels really comfortable on the skin 🙂
