Another beauty box suscription blogpost, but I guess it’s that time of month when beauty boxes are being dispatched to subscribers!
I just had to show you how beautiful April’s Birchbox is! As a stationery fan, this edition of Birchbox pleases me so!

Birchbox April 2016 | A Collaboration With Rifle Paper Co
Birchbox have teamed up with Rifle Paper Co. this month – a stationery brand that’s a favourite amongst bloggers alike. If you’ve never heard of Rifle Paper Co., I would recommend giving them a bit of a search on Google. If you’re partial to pretty prints and gorgeous typography, you will fall head over heels for Rifle Paper Co. You’ll fall hard. Like, instantly.

The only thing I am really sad about is that the regular subscription box doesn’t include any stationery as one of it’s sample, not even the cute little postcards that are often enclosed in Birchbox.
But there is an option to pay £4 extra for Birchbox Plus which contains a stunning notebook duo (worth a retail value of £8). All subscribers receives a unique discount code for Rifle Paper Co. which I will be taking full advantage of!

Now on to the beauty products that was inside Birchbox’s April edition. This month’s box includes a lot of samples I have used before – ones that I’ve enjoyed using! First up is:
Benefit Cosmetics Dew The Hoola
I first tried Dew The Hoola in Benefit’s Do The Hoola Kit this time last (wow, it really doesn’t seem that long ago?!) but recently, Benefit have launched the full size version of their liquid bronzer and it makes sense to promote it via Birchbox. Just like the original Hoola powder, Dew The Hoola contains no shimmer and glides on to skin evenly.
Cynthia Rowley Beauty Eyeliner
I already received this eyeliner before in a previous Birchbox (Feb 2015) and really loved it so I’m pleased to get another one! As I said in my last email, I can’t get enough of eyeliners! I use them every day and I always seem to lose them so I don’t mind getting a duplicate product in this case, especially when they’re creamy, soft, and non-dragging like Cynthia Rowley’s eyeliner. Great for the ever so sensitive eye area!

Balance Me Tinted Wonder Eye Cream
I’ve been using this eye cream prior to receiving it in this month’s Birchbox and it’s a great eye treatment that not only hydrate and reduce fine lines but it also brightens and conceals too. At first, I thought it was strange to use a tinted eye cream and I wondered if the tint was even the right shade for my skintone, but the tint it subtle and it blends in to my skin very well. It’s undetectable!
Kueshi Foot Care Cream
It isn’t quite sandal season yet but it’s never too early to prep your feet! I am not all that clued up on products for feet so I will let Birchbox guide the way on this one! I’ve never heard of Kueshi before, but I already love their Food Care Cream which is a softening foot cream formulated with sweet almond oil and royal jelly to moisturise, and tea tree oil to calm and cool.

Parlour by Jeff Chastain Detangling Leave-In Conditioner
My hair has been unmanageable lately and a detangling conditioner is very much appreciated right now! It has a power combo of sweet almond extract and vitamin B5 to nourish hair. This is the 3rd Parlour by Jeff Chastain haircare I’ve tried – and so far, so good! A great premium hair brand that I’d highly recommend for anyone who needs to give their hair a bit of TLC.

Birchbox is a beauty subscription box that allows you to discover premium, high end and niche beauty brands for £10 per month (plus £2.95 for postage and packaging). Visit the website for more information or to sign up for your box.
