My taste in jewellery is ever-changing but the one ‘theme’ that runs through all of the pieces that I have in my collection is that they’re quirky and have a meaning behind why I chose it. I’d say I’m quite fussy when it comes to jewellery. I’m not one for a big sparkler or anything shiny (nothing expensive… I’ll only lose it!) I like pieces that represent a part of my personality and if you check out one of my past blogpost featuring just some of the quirky jewellery I have… you will notice that I’m kind of a fan of pineapples! Who isn’t!?

In a recent shopping trip in London, it was at John Lewis where I discovered a new obsession with jewellery brand, Estella Bartlett. It has been a long time since I wore dainty jewellery but whilst it is delicate and dainty, it’s also quirky and wearable on a daily basis. I hovered around the sales section where I spotted the tiniest, cutest pineapple charm necklace. I was a bit gutted that it wasn’t part of the sales item but it was still only £18 at full price and it’s a gold pineapple… I just had to buy it! There was so many that I wanted though including an anchor, a heart, paper aeroplane, a rose gold unicorn… so many!

My cute Mum bought me and my little sister a necklace each. Mine was the gold plated pineapple which is the side of a lemon pip! And for my sister, we picked a silver plated angel or maybe it was a fairy? You know… the cone-shaped kind that you put on top of a Christmas tree! Both of our necklaces are on a short chain which sits on the neckline but they also come in a chain that’s 2 inches longer.

Each piece of jewellery is packaged in crisp white card with a see-through cloud cut-out. And each jewellery design has it’s own inspirational quote on the front of the packaging. The pineapple one says ‘Live As You Dream’, and my sister’s silver angel reads ‘She Believe She Could So She Did’. Isn’t that the sweetest? I love things like that! And after training so hard at ballet and qualifying as a dance teacher, my mum and I thought it was an appropriate message to inspire to be continue being positive and confident in herself.
They honestly make the loveliest gifts. My sister was so happy with it! I hope my other sister doesn’t read this because her birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks and I am going to get her an Estella Barlett necklace!

Some of the jewellery are now on sale from the Estella Bartlett website or their various stockists such as John Lewis. There are a choice of silver or gold plated, and spotted rose gold too. There’s also a collection of sterling silver for something extra special.

I remember reading one of your posts back last summer when you shared your quirky jewelry, and I believe pineapples made an appearance once or twice 😀 I'm a fan of dainty jewelry, so this is right up my alley 😉 Rose gold unicorn tho… I love rose gold. And unicorns… -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey's
I love it! There something about pineapples that are just so perfect – I want to put them everywhere! This brand (EB) sounds so lovely, I am definitely going to look into their other jewelry.
