I haven’t done a Monthly Favourites blogpost in such a long time. I’ve been meaning to and I actually have so many photos backlogged, ready for the blogpost to be written but I can’t seem to get back in to it. Instead, I’ll ease myself in with a mini one. So here are 4 nice things I am currently loving at the moment and they all come from this month’s Love Me Beauty.

£27.50
Firstly, the packaging for this is so nice. The jewel green glass bottle comes in a rustic Kraft paper box with the prettiest illustrations on it. If you’re feeling under the weather, I recommend trying MOA Fortifying Green Bath Potion. You pour 2 or 3 caps full of the oil in to the bath while the water is still running. You’ll notice how minty and invigorating it is and how it instantly opens up airways which is why I think it’s so great to relieve the pain and general miserable-ness of a cold or flu.
Similarly, it will ease aching muscles after a long day. My sister is a dancer and she is always looking for things like this to help relax tense muscles from training. Green Bath Potion is made from 100% natural ingredient, notably featuring peppermint and fennel which refreshes and detoxifies. The smell of it reminds of Murray Mints! Even though it’s really minty, it doesn’t affect your skin like mint/menthol products tend to – so don’t worry about tingly or stinging, or anything like that!

Omnisens Body Lotion
Spa brand, Ominsens, hails from France and is distributed to 15 countries. I love trying spa brands like this because you instantly feel luxurious! Like you’re in good hands when you’re using the product. When the weather wreaks havoc on your skin like it has on mine, you need a quality body lotion that helps moisturise for a good amount of time.
This body lotion is a milky white sorbet formula that feels cool upon skin. It’s non-greasy, absorbs in seconds, gentle and subtle in fragrance. It contains white tea and is formulated without parabens, silicone, mineral oil and colouring agent.

When I used Paw Paw balm last time, the consistency was so dense that it was difficult to squeeze it out of the tube. I don’t know whether it’s a new and improved formula, or whether it’s a small change in the packaging design, but this tinted version (same formula, just with an added hint of colour) is a softer, smoother texture.
This is a multi-use balm but as it’s tinted, it’s probably a bit limited than the colourless one which can be used on lips, cuticles, hair, to soothe sunburnt, nappy rash, dry patches (elbow and knees). I didn’t expect this to have much colour because when I swatched it on the back of my hand, the tint was sheer and barely-there. However… when I finished applying it to my lips in a slap-dash way, I looked in the mirror only to resemble Miranda Sings, haha! It’s not a bold red, of course, but I’ll remember the stay within the lines next time as a good amount of colour shows up on the skin!

£16.50
So, here’s how the story goes. Moringa Oil was traditionally found in Tutakhamun’s tomb, and it is is to believed that Pharaohs and Ancient Egyptians used this oil for it regenerating, cleansing, and antioxidant properties. This inspired Eye Of Horus to create this mascara which contains Moringo oil – obvi! Goddess Mascara is suitable for sensitive eyes and is formulated with natural waxes and oils to achieve a dramatic and volumised lashes. The fine brush allows each lash to be covered without clumping, which is the main factor I look when using a mascara. It is on the expensive side, but it is one of the best mascaras I’ve used alongside Too Faced’s Better Than Sex mascara.

That oil sounds amazing, and if it helps your sister out I can imagine it working wonders on us mere mortals (i.e. the ones who don't exercise every day 😉 ). And that mascara's got one hell of a story, not many brands can say the ancient egyptians endorsed their products! x Rebecca – itscohen.co.uk
What lovely faves and I tried the mascara and loved it. I had a sample but need to get a full size.

That bath potion looks incredible! I'm always on the lookout for bath tidbits that claim to relax and soothe muscles as I have the world of issues with my back after dancing throughout my childhood and teens. Such gorgeous photos as always Sarah xx
