BIRCHBOX DECEMBER 2015
The very last Birchbox of 2015 *sob*! It has been such a fantastic year for my favourite beauty box ever! Every month has been an exciting edition and unpredictable collaborations. I say this every time I see the Birchbox team or when I’m talking to them via email. I felt the slump for these beauty boxes last year and how the general vibe was that most of us are getting bored or fed up of the ‘same old, same old’ samples. Every single Birchbox this year has been amazing and exciting – see for yourself here.
For December, Birchbox has turned in to a Birch-Clutch-Bag just in time for the party season. With gold sparkles ’n’ all. And inside the bag are 6-7 beauty samples.
Benefit’s The Ultimate Party Kit
These are the mini deluxe samples of They’re Real Push Up Eyeliner & Puff Off. I use They’re Real Push Up Eyeliner every day so it’s great to see this in the box (ahem, clutch). The idea is that the eyeliner will get you party-ready and Puff Off will help soothe the tired eye the morning after! You can read my full review of the gel eyeliner pen here, and Puff Off here.
Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentrate
Apparently this is a cult classic amongst make-up artists so that’s good to know – hopefully it becomes one of my faves too! Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentrate is a hydrating moisturising which doubles up as a make-up primer too.
Rituals T’ai Chi Foaming Shower Gel
I was in the Rituals shop at the weekend, raving about these foaming shower gels to my cousin. I love them and think they’re fab! You only need to dispense a small amount on to your hands, it comes out a clear gel which foams up when lathered.
Catherine Malandrino, Style de Paris
This is a beautiful fragrance with notes of mandarin, red grapefruit, and pear. Sounds yum, right? I love all of the Catherine Malandrino I’ve tried so far and this one is no difference – it’s fruity but it’s also sweet, I’m getting a hint of vanilla or honey? Either way, it smells GREAT!
Ciate London Mini Paint Pot
I looooooove this shade, I already have it in my nail polish collection. It’s a shimmery metallic silver called Fit For A Queen and it is PERFECT for the festive season!
ModelCo Lipstick in Smitten
I would describe this as a berry red, which is a tad too dark for my complexion but I reckon it’s one of those shades that only suits someone when they have a full face of make-up. Y’know, the full look. I’m going to give it a go, I’ve got a feeling it’s going to look awesome for a girl’s night out!
