French brand Melvita was one of the first in the industry to offer a wide range of natural, ecological and organic beauty products. They are committed to providing the best formulations at the highest, strictest standards. At least 95% of the total ingredients are from natural origins and 95% of the total plant-based ingredients are organic. Recently Melvita sent me a few of the beauty heroes to try, plus a little Christmas treat.
Natural And Organic Beauty Heroes From Melvita

Melvita Damask Rose Floral Water*, £16
I love rosewater. It has surprised me in how much is hydrates my skin. Out of all the trends and all the skincare fads, rosewater has been the one for me and I intend to keep it in my daily routine FOREVER! It can be used in lieu of toner as it’s an astringent so will help tighten and shrink pores so they appear smaller. Rosewater has hydrating properties that will help your skin feel moisturised throughout the day. Before applying face cream, mist the rosewater it over clean skin and pat it dry, or put some on a cotton pad and apply it to your face.
Melvita Organic Rose Beauty Mist*, £10
Enriched with antioxidant Wild Rose Fruit, this Organic Rose Beauty Mist helps comfort skin while helping prevent the signs of ageing. As with the Damask Rose Floral Water, this mist is hydrating and moisturising. Besides the slight different in ingredients, they are both really similar. The biggest different is, of course, the packaging and how the mist is dispensed from it. Use it in the morning to protect the skin and fix make-up, or use throughout the day to give skin an instant boost of hydration, freshness and quench it’s thirst. Great to use all year round!

L’Or Bio Dry Oil*, £15 for 50ml
Anything with Argan Oil in and I’ve got have it! L’Or Bio is a 100% natural oil that contains a unique synergy of 5 rare and precious oils. Argan Oil from Morrocco, Kendi Oil from Indonesia, Inca Inchi Oil from Amazonia, Buriti Oil from Brazil and Precaxi Oil from Amazonia – to regenerate, nourish, and maintain a healthy glow. Use dry oil on hands and body, and even hair to give it extra shine.

Melvita Christmas Bauble*, £11 (In the sale)
I love beauty baubles, especially when they contain 3 miniature items in there! These travel sized mini are great for anyone who is new to the brand and want to try Melvita for the first time. Melvita’s pink Christmas bauble contains Damask Rose Floral Water, L’Or Bio Extraordinary Oil, and L’Argan Bio Velvet Hand Cream. Not bad for the price!
Melvita does not test on animals. Their products are free harsh chemicals and synthetics such as from parabens, sulphates, and formaldehyde. Available to buy online or at one of their stockists which include selected John Lewis stores and Fenwick in Newcastle.
