I was first introduced to Jurlique at the end of last year and after receiving the BUMPER Ultimate Beauty Gift Set, I haven’t been without it for the past 12 months. Jurlique has been my go-to for all things skincare and I was delighted to be invited to take part in their Instagram Take-Over to recommend products as their ‘beauty addict’. I sure am a beauty addict, that got that one right!
JURLIQUE: MY FAVOURITE SKINCARE BRAND
Below are some of the snaps from the Instagram Take-Over featuring a few(!) products that I’ve enjoyed using this year (I know, there’s quite a lot, I’ve had to narrow it down! They don’t call me a beauty junkie for nothin’.)
Last year, I was gifted the miniature hand care set and this year, I received the hand care set* which features the full size products. Can we take a moment to appreciate the GORGEOUS the gift set packaging is? You’ve got the festive sleeve design which wraps around the wood-effect box, that houses the individually packed hand creams! It’s so perfect! I love the packaging so I tend to keep them for a while as you can see in the image on the far right. These are great hand creams to use on a daily basis, my favourite is the Rose fragrance, followed by Citrus.
How’s your skin coping in the cold weather? Mine feels lack-lustre, tight, and battered by the wind (eeeks!). A face oil or a serum (but I prefer an oil) under a moisturiser will help your skin feel protected from the elements. As you only need to use 2 or 3 drops a day, these 50ml bottles will last a long time. But you have to be careful not to use face oils after their shelf life. I did that once and I suffered a bad reaction! So it’s a good job I have a second bottle ready. I hope the Herbal Recovery Antioxidant Face Oil works just as well as the Skin Balancing one – it’s a total FAVE!
Other amazing extra skincare that I’m loving at the moment is the Rosewater Face Mist, Moisturising Cream Mask, and SPF40 Sun Cream For Face And Body. I use a sun cream on my face even during Winter and especially after using an acid peel which contains AHA or Vitamin C to prevent pigmentation.
