birchbox birthday edition, birchbox september 2015
So much Birchbox-ness on my blog right now! This should be the last one until next month but I’ll keep this post short and sweet!
The Birthday edition of Birchbox* contains the following beauty samples:

Laqa & Co Cheek / Lipstick
There’s an overwhelming amount of chubby sticks to choose from (and I WANT THEM ALL!). Being totes “on-trend”, Laqa & Co has created an exclusive chubby lipstick for Birchbox (we all love an exclusive, right?). The bullet itself it about 1cm in size so you don’t get much but I guess it’s just a tester sample! You can use this on your lips or cheeks. I won’t be using this as dual use, it’s either lips or cheeks for me, one or the other – just because hygiene.
Benefit’s The Porefessional License To Blot
I love Benefit mini’s, they are really cute! I’ve tried License To Blog, it’s not my favourite out of The Porefessional range but it’s handy to have if you have oily skin. Read my full review of Benefit’s License To Blot here.
Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting Liquid Exfoliant
Liquid exfoliant always intrigues me. I can’t wait to try this and hope it’s one that will stay in my skincare routine. I’m hoping that this is similar to Skinetica which is amazing for anyone who has blemish-prone skin or acne. Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting Liquid Exfoliant unclogs and shrinks pores, evens out your skin tone, reduces redness and builds collagen for a plumper, ironed-out wrinkles and younger looking skin. If you’d like to try it, you can order a sample for 70p on their website (or alternatively, sign up for the latest Birchbox, of course!)
John Masters Organics Detangler
GIMME ALL THE DETANGLER IN THE WORLD! Anything that detangles my long and unmanageable hair is a winner with me! This product is great as you can leave it in your hair as a treatment, or you can rinse it out if you so wish to. It contains coconut oil, neroli and grapefruit to smooth and nourish hair.
Bliss Foot Patrol
Bliss was founded by Marcia Kilgore, the original founder, ex-CEO and general all-round GENIUS behind the beauty brand I currently work at, Soap & Glory – so of course, I am excited to see a Bliss product in this month’s Birchbox. Can I get a woop woop! I’ll be comparing Foot Patrol with Soap & Glory’s Heel Genius and see how they match up!
The Birchbrush (bonus item)
The pain of brushing out knotted hair brings tears to my eyes, I don’t have a high threshold for it at all. To ease the pain, I bought a Tangle Teezer after so many bloggers hyped it up but I actually don’t like it. Isn’t it suppose to be pain-free? Well, it kinda still hurts!! I’m lacking hair tools right now so I will still use the Birchbrush! Perhaps it will help if I use after detangling my hair with John Masters Organics Detangler!
