Can we just take a second to appreciate what a bundle of cuteness Too Faced Cosmetics are! I know it’s not to everybody’s taste but I personally really love the cutesy-cutesy, sweet and girly packaging, it draws me in more than a slick design. I mean, what can I say? I’m just not a slick kind of girl.

If it’s cute, if it’s heart-shaped and if there are sweet little bunnies embossed into the powder, then HELLO, TAKE MY FRICKIN’ MONEY! TAKE ALL OF MY MONEY RIGHT NOW! *heart-shaped eyes emoji*

I am keen on growing my collection of Too Faced because from what I have tried, I’ve been amazed by! Don’t let the sweet little packaging fool you, their stuff packs a punch and it works a treat! Whether you’re after a mascara that promises volume, a liquid foundation that feels like second skin or a powder that flatters the complexion of your skin – then check out this lot!
too faced born this way foundation

Described as an oil-free, medium-to-full coverage foundation that feels like so natural, people will think you were born that way. That’s the marketing hook, of course. How does it really feel? Well, they’re right. It feels natural, light-weight, is oil-free, offers at least a medium coverage and hides imperfection without it caking.
It’s a beautiful, smooth consistency that is formulated with Coconut Water and Hyaluronic Acid to provide, hold and boost hydration and moisture. I use two layers of Born This Way foundation which gives a medium coverage but if you like it full, the add another layer. It doesn’t look or feel like you’ve got foundation on, so it’s make-up trickery as it’s best!
There are 12 shades to choose from, so hopefully there is one for everyone.

Too Faced Love Flush Blush*

These are just ADORABLE, right?! I want to collect them all! I love how the packaging matches the colour of the blush so when you have more than one, you’ll know exactly what shade you’re grabbing from your make-up bag! But also, they just look so pretty next to each other. They remind me of Polly Pockets (the old school kinds, not the new style Polly!)

I’ve got it in shade ‘I Will Always Love You’ which is a peachy orange, but I’ve got my eye on the pinks! It claims to last 16 hours on skin. It does last a long time but I don’t think I’ve kept my make up on for 16 hours before. It does last a good 9 to 5 though! Obviously, the BEST thing about this blusher is the gorgeous bunny imprint design. SO CUTE!!

If you’re an avid fan of beauty blogs and beauty YouTubers, then you may recognise this one as it has been raved about quite a lot. I don’t know what took me so long to fall for the hype but this mascara is THE ONE! It’s lengthens to make your lashes appear longer and fuller. I don’t normally jump on the bandwagon for hyped-up beauty products (I don’t think?) but this  mascara deserves everyone’s attention!

What Too Faced say about this powder is really going to get you rushing to the shops to buy this face powder! “Using PHOTOLITE technology, which diffuses unflattering indoor fluorescents and harsh natural lighting’. Ok, ok, I’m sold!
For someone who takes a lot of photos for their blog, any fashion and beauty blogger will understand how frustratingly annoying harsh lighting is so this powder sounds like the answer to all your dreams. It does soften your make-up and gets ride of shine, whilst illuminating all the right places to get a picture perfect selfie whatever the lighting! Well, that’s the idea, anyway!
You can swirl a big brush around the duo for an overall airbrushed look, or you can use a small brush to apply each shade to areas you want to highlight.
Which Too Faced product have you got in your make-up stash?
Are you tempted to try any of the ones I’ve just mentioned?

  1. I'll be honest I've never tried any products from the Two Faced range…yet! The blushes and that foundation are definitely on my 'to try' list. I've read lots of reviews that say the foundation is a slightly yellow toned so I think I may have to choose my shade wisely I have quite a warm complexion. The berry/pink shade in the Love Flush blush looks like it would suit my skin tone 🙂 xx

  2. I have heard quite a lot of positive things about the Two Faced Born This Way foundation. I definitely need to try it when I head to my local Boots as I like quite a natural looking foundation that gives a bit more than a light coverage.
