As I’ve gotten older, one of the things that I quite like to do is flower arranging! Not that I’m a pro or anything, but there’s something quite therapeutic about flower arrangement! Two weeks ago (maybe even three weeks now), I was offered a bouquet by Debenhams Flowers* and I was allowed to choose from the selection of Summer flowers.
The Summer Meadows bouquet arrived beautifully and they looked super pretty in a large, but simple glass vase. As you can see from the photo on the Debenhams Flowers website, the avalanche roses look yellow (although it’s described as peach in the description), my roses were actually baby pink and I also got white stocks instead of pink. I am really happy with the pink and white colours of the bouquet, they were SUPER pretty but this is the second time that this has happened where the bouquet I’ve received doesn’t match the image on the product page.

This is, understandably, most likely dependent on the season and how difficult it is to source a certain colour of flower – but I think flower delivery services should make it clear to customers that they might not get what is pictured and the colour theme might be completely different because when I buy flowers for people, I often choose by colour scheme.
The bouquet lasted exactly 7 days before they started to wilt, but only just. All of the roses were all beautifully opened when they were delivered so I didn’t expect them to last longer than a week, I think a week is pretty standard? The flowers really brightened up my room and I have loved having them as they cheered me up when I got in from a long day at work!
Debenhams Flowers would like to offer all of my blog readers a huge 25% off their a bouquet with code DFBLOG25 on their flower delivery range (excludes ‘Flower By Post’ range). Some of the flowers come with a small box of chocolates with selected bouquets, just look out for the ‘FREE CHOCOLATES’ label on the image! Debenhams Flowers also offers free standard delivery and pay £2.99 for guaranteed next day delivery – 7 days a week!
