Soap & Glory have launched a new lip product to their range last week and it’s one that I’ve been really excited about! Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick 3D Volume Lip Shine
) are mini lip gloss crayons that comes in five beautiful shades and the best thing is that they only cost £3.50 each (so you really CAN afford to buy one in each colour! Woooop!)
Earlier this year, I had the pleasure of trying out Soap & Glory’s original Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick Crayons
(which launched in 2012) and it was actually the first time I had ever tried lip gloss crayons
(I know, I’m late to the party!) but I am glad that Soap & Glory introduced them into my life. They have been my go-to lip product because they offer just the right amount of colour and shine for a regular work day.
I expected the new mini Gloss Sticks lip crayons to be similar – and in a way, they are – but the petite version packs more of a colour! I am impressed that it’s more pigmented than the original, it’s more like a shiny lip stick than it a lip gloss (if that makes sense?!). You can compare the pigment with the new Gloss Sticks and the original one by checking out my review from January
. The difference in the swatches are really noticeable.
The Gloss Sticks feel great on lips, and they’re moisturising for the whole time you’re wearing the gloss. There’s no danger of them drying out your lips throughout the day. They’re also really comfortable to wear because they’re not sticky or heavy, and it doesn’t have that signature Soap & Glory tingle and buzz. Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Sticks are completely buzz-free which is something I’m extremely happy about! It is formulated with pre-peptides and 3D PLUMP to make your lips look fuller too!
The five colours that are available include:
Technicoral – a bright coral pink
Pink Punch – a pink-red with a blue undertone
Pinkaboo – a gorgeous rose pink
Purple Rain – a plummy, vampy purple
Nudist – a stunning nude that suits everyone
I have the Technicoral and Pink Punch which are both super gorgeous! I am keen to try Purple Rain but I’ve never tried a purple lip colour before. I think Purple Rain is a nice introduction in to purple lip shades as it’s not so in-your-face. You can apply with a lip brush for a sheer finish or you can apply straight on to the lips for a nice pop of colour!
Boots are currently offering a Buy 1 Get 2nd Half Price on Soap & Glory cosmetics so you can get the Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Sticks for a really good deal if you shop SOON! The offer is on instore and online at Boots
