Does anyone else go into Boots or Superdrug for the smallest of products and come out of the shop with a huge bag of stuff? The urge to resist the 3 for 2 offers is too hard. I mean, you go in for a pack of cotton pads… and then you pick up a body scrub, y’know, just to make your trip worthwhile.
…But then you spot some other things in your line of sight. Things your brain has persuaded you that they’re beauty essentials and something you’ll get so much use out of. And as they’re under £10, you throw it into your basket and before you know it, you’re at the checkout handing over so much money! HOW DID THAT HAPPEN?! I only went in for a pack of cotton pads.

10 Beauty Products Under £10

It’s so easy to do. Especially with all the promotional offers on! I’ve picked out 10 of my current favourite beauty products under £10 so if you feel like you’re going to be haulin’ on your next shopping trip, here are a few treats to look out for!

NIVEA Double Effect Eye Make-Up Remover, £3.89
I find that oil-based eye make-up removers are the easiest way of dissolving the most stubborn of mascaras and liquid eyeliners. You can just hold the cotton pad over your eyes for a few seconds and wipe the make-up away without tugging the eye area.
Amie Hydrating Daily Moisturiser*, £4.95
Amie was created by ex-Estee Lauder Executive, Fiona Parkhouse, to create a skincare solution for her own daughter, Samantha. Amie’s skincare is formulated with high quality plant and botanical ingredients but the best thing is that it’s so incredibly affordable. You can buy it from Waitrose, John Lewis and large Tesco branches. This moisturiser is a gentle blend of rosehip, mallow and rose extract to keep the skin hydrated.
NIVEA Smooth Nourishing Hand Cream, £3.49
NIVEA does the best hand cream for the best prices. I think you can currently buy it at Superdrug for £1.50! This hand cream has macadamia nut oil to nourish the skin on your hand and improve the skin’s elasticity.
NIVEA Lip Butters*, £2.00
I first tried these last year but my sister nicked off with it! They are only £2 per tin and they’re really moisturising on the lips. I’m very picky with lip balms but this one gets a thumbs up from me! It comes in original (unscented), Blueberry Blush, Raspberry Rose, and Vanilla & Macadamia.

Soap&Glory Smoothie Star, £8.00
I think that the Smoothie Star is my ultimate favourite product from Soap&Glory – but it really is very hard to choose! I love a lot of things from Soap&Glory! The Smoothie Star Breakfast Scrub was one of the first Soap&Glory products I had ever tried and I have repurchased it so many times. It smells absolutely amazing, is a very gritty, grainy scrub and is an absolute staple beauty item of mine. If you like body scrubs, get this one on to your wishlist!
Soap&Glory Fruitigo Fragrance Mist*, £10
Again, it’s so hard to pick a favourite but on some weeks, I prefer the Sugar Crush Fragrance Mist and at other times, I favour Fruitigo. This week, I’m loving Fruitigo which is a wild fig and yuzu fruit fragrance, so it’s very sharp and zingy. It’s so Summery and it makes a nice alternative to an expensive perfume.
The Body Shop Virgin Mojito Shower Gel*, £4
I’ve been so impressed with The Body Shop lately, and it looks like they’ve got a lot of amazing things up their sleeves for the upcoming months. For the time being, check out their Virgin Mojito range, it’s smells so juicy and mouth-watering! It’s most definitely worth checking out. Their shower gel is only £4 so well within budget!
NIVEA Sun Protect & Bronze (sprays), £8.50 each
Good quality sun protection usually cost over £10 but these two Sun Protect and Sun Bronze sprays are £8.50 each. One is an oil (shop link) and another is a lotion, pop one in your handbag and spritz on to skin every 1-2 hours!

Richard Ward Intense Argan Butter For Hair*, £5.99
I was cynical of this at first because hair masks tend to be quite pricy but this hair butter acts in the same way as a hair mask.  It’s only £5.99 from Waitrose and it does a pretty good job of nourishing hair and giving it’s shine back.
Got2b Oil-licious Dry Oil Mist*, £4.19
I’ve been using this a lot lately! The heat is making my hair frizzy and this dry oil mist just smoothes and tames it right down! It’s a brilliant hair product, I use it after I’ve straightened or even curled. The only annoying thing about it is that it can choke you up, so use in short bursts in a well ventilated area!

  1. Some lovely items on here I might have to give some a go, I'm not a fan of the Nivea Lip Butters though, they are moisturising but I have the white cast they leave on the lips :/ Having said that I had three (Vanilla and Macadamia, Caramel Creme and Raspberry Rose) and they all smell lovely 🙂 xx
