Sometimes, beauty boxes can be very disappointing and underwhelming but when you can choose your own contents, it’s a win-win situation! Of course, there’s still an option to receive a box filled with a random mix of products but the unique thing about Love Me Beauty that makes them stand out is that you can pick all 5 items yourself from a monthly beauty menu and as you can tell, June’s box includes some big brands like Elemis and Nails Inc.
The interesting thing is that everyone’s box will be unique to them, there are so many different combinations. I got the random mix selection and when the parcel arrived, the contents were a completely surprise but I am super pleased with everything, it is a great box! In the June edition of Love Me Beauty*, I received six beauty items and one make-up bag which is a bonus!
There was 3 Elemis products in there; British Botanical Shower Cream, Pro-Collagen Marine Cream Ultra Rich and Pro-Radiance Illuminating Flash Balm. I am quite intrigued by the balm, I wonder if it’s a moisturiser or if it’s more like a primer. I need to look in to it!
I’m going to give the Pro-Collagen Marine Cream Ultra Rich to my mum because that’s what she uses and she’s going to love the mini tube. I think it’s going to be too rich for me, I feel like it’s going to overwork my skin and break me out. I need to use light and gentle formulas at the moment otherwise my skin becomes too oily. And as this is actually labelled as ‘Ultra Rich’ on the packaging, I think I’ll give it a miss. Not to say that it’s a bad product, it totally isn’t, it’s just not suitable for me right now.
The British Botanical shower cream is great, I love Elemis bath and body products. This one has a soothing and aromatic blend of lavender, chamomile, geranium, palmarosa and echium oil to hydrate and nourish skin.
I was super excited to see these two bottles of
Nails Inc. polishes in the box! They are both gel effect and in the new style bottles. I’ve tried the
gel range before and they’re awesome – full coverage and ultra shiny.
St James is a bright, vibrant red and Soho Place is a beautiful aqua shade. I’ve been wanting an aqua for ages so I can’t wait to apply this! They are full sized and are usually £15 per bottle.
This one’s a unique one! This is Realine Beauty Frown Line Patches. It’s a small box but there are 30 patches in there and the patches are hypoallergenic polyethylene adhesive film. I don’t have much of an issue with frown lines so I’m not sure how useful these are to me, but if I was ever worried about it, I know that there’s a way to reduce the appearance of them!
I was skeptical at first but after reading some information on them, it does seem to work! You apply the patch on clean skin over taut skin and leave on overnight. This is full size and one box costs £28.
Despite the brand delivery, I received four of the gorgeous Nails Inc shades – the two you've got plus Kensington High St and Kensington Passage! X
Ooh I do really like the idea of this! I used to get Glossy Box, but I was getting a bit fed of getting similar products all the time, so being able to choose your own is a great idea.

I love the idea of being able to pick my own box contents! The randomness and potential disappointment has always prevented me from subscribing to monthly boxes.
Because I don't know very much about beauty products, I actually don't really mind when they pick the products for us! I subscribe to Ipsy and every package comes with a bag, which is really nice 🙂 Maybe once I get the hang of it I'll try this out! -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey's
I love that slogan cosmetic bag! Is there a place to order one?

I love this idea! I really love the beauty box concept, but have often felt let down by the contents. So this sounds perfect for me! (Also, super curious about those frown line patches haha!!) Great post 🙂
