pink flower bouquet
How BEAUTIFUL is this flower bouquet from Appleyard London? I have had it on my coffee table all week and I haven’t been able to take my eyes off them! They are so pretty!
I picked the Herb Garden bouquet* from the website which had a lot of purple flowers in it. I really love the different shades of pale purple in the bouquet, it’s my favourite colour. However, as you can see from my photos, the bouquet I received is more pink than it is purple. Initially, I thought that perhaps it just showed up a lot lighter on my computer screen but it appears to be a completely bouquet altogether as it contained completely different filler flowers.
All of the bouquets are absolutely stunning and the one I got is super beautiful, but I would be wary that when I place an order in the future, especially if it’s a gift, that I would wonder if it would arrive looking like what is shown on the website or totally different.

Nevertheless, I love the flowers and I honestly can’t stop looking at them!
At first, I didn’t have a big enough vase for them so I went straight in to town to find the perfect one. I popped in to TK Maxx and couldn’t really find a proper glass vase that I liked so I went in to the kitchen section to look for a jug. I spotted a copper jug which I thought would look amazing as a vase so I settled on that and went straight home. Now, I regret my choice because the flower food doesn’t last as long in metal vases so that meant the flowers didn’t stay as fresh as they would have done if they were placed in a glass vase. Nevertheless, I got a good 7 days of beautiful fresh flowers that bloomed nicely!

The quality of the flowers are lovely and it all looked expensive (no sign of carnations in there!) and they smell great too! I enjoyed arranging them, there’s something so therapeutic and satisfying about arranging flowers!

I have been told by Appleyard that my blog readers can get 33% discount off their order with code BLOG33 (offer excludes on this section – but the discount applies to everything else on their website)
I haven’t been informed which date the discount code ends, they just said the discount is applicable throughout Spring so I assume that would be through to the end of May. If you know someone who deserved a bunch of flowers, or you just want to treat yourself, use code BLOG33 at checkout!

Important note: Pollen from lilies are poisoness and toxic to cats. My Oscar doesn’t live with me so I was able to keep these flowers around in my flat but when I buy flowers for my mum, I always ask the florist to exclude lilies. Keep lilies away from your pets (or to be on the safe side, ask your florist to replace them with another flower).
