Burberry Kisses Lipstick // Miltary Red Swatch

Burberry Kisses Lipstick Miltary Red, burberry lipstick
Burberry Kisses in Military Red*
I guess there will be an influx of Burberry Kisses lipstick reviews on beauty blogs at the moment and here’s another one to add to the mix! You see, a recent Burberry’s social media campaign had everyone flocking straight to Twitter to sign up for free samples. Burberry was giving away samples of their newly launched lipstick, and all you had to do was apply and then nominate your Twitter friends to receive one too. It was as easy as that and there was absolutely no catch!
Burberry Kisses Lipstick Miltary Red
Burberry Kisses comes in 28 beautiful shades and I picked Military Red. I was eager for it’s release so I looked it up to find out if it was going to be any good.
It is described as a sheer and glossy lipstick so I expected quite light in pigment, but of course, being Burberry, it’s rich in pigment and has a beautiful sheen to it’s finish. It is a lot more vibrant than I thought it would be and now I wish I picked a pale pink or a nude, Military Red is a beautiful shade for a pop of colour! Very appropriate for Spring! You can apply it with a brush for a wash of colour and build up the coverage to suit you.

It’s gel texture is velvety and buttery, and it feels comfortable, moisturising and long-lasting on lips. BUT LETS TALK ABOUT THE PACKAGING!
With Burberry’s tartan pattern debossed on to the bullet and frosted upon the outer metal packaging, this lipstick has got the WOW factor. The sample is a mini and it looks so cute but it still feels very premium and it’s so pretty, I almost don’t want to use it! I can’t wait to check out the collection and see what the full size versions are like. It’s selling out really fast so I’ve got to be quick!

It does look like a lovely colour. Glad it's not too sheer. I feel like a good pigmented lipstick is more value for money than £25 for something sheer!

Oh wow this looks amazing! I don't actually own any of their lipsticks, however I did manage to find the mascara from this range in TKmaxx for only £4.99! I love it!

I thought that the campaign was amazing but I'm not sure if I'd buy the lipstick. I don't think it's much better than my beloved MAC Red. ten out of ten for packaging though!
