REN Flash Rinse 1 Minute Facial | Beauty Review
Face peels are now a regular part of my skincare routine and I use a good quality face peel twice a month.
Now, when I was first introduced to the REN Flash Rinse 1 Minute Facial, I was skeptical. It was a new product at the time, I hadn’t read any reviews beforehand and I wondered how can you achieve a spa facial results in just 60 seconds?!
I was given a small sachet of it to try last year and I loved it so much that I asked for a full size product for Christmas.

For those who don’t like to sit around for half an hour with a gloopy face mask on your face, REN Flash Rinse 1 Minute Facial might just be the product for you!
It’s convenient, effective and due to the potent Vitamin C in the formula, you will get you glowing results instantly, even after the first use. With it being a ‘fast-acting”product with highly reactive ingredients that only takes one minute of your time, it means you can use it in the mornings as well so you can go out with your skin feeling AWESOME!
It is also especially handy on those evenings when you’re feeling a bit lazy too. It’s really easy to use and all you have to do is apply the amount of a 50 pence piece size (a lot more than what is shown in the image above – I didn’t want to waste too much for the purpose of a photograph!) and massage to face and then apply water to activate the Vitamin C.
Massage the gel again and leave for one single minute before rinsing with water. Exactly one minute is all it needs, no more and no less. The highly active formula brightens, rejuvenates, tones, firms and smoothes – all in the space of 1 minute!
When I first used it, I seriously felt like Meryl Streep in Death Becomes Her in the scene where she’s looking in the mirror after downing the potion for the first time. Looking in the mirror, I was like ‘oooooh, so smooth and youthful”.
Honestly, if your skin is feeling dull and lacklustre (which mine is during Winter!) but don’t often have time or the patience to apply a face mask, REN Flash Rinse is what you need!

There is a smell of oranges when you’re applying it on to skin. It has a citrus kick to it. Some people have complained about a strong metallic scent but I haven’t experienced this. REN has stated that the metallic smell occurring is from the Vitamin C is activating. All I smell is orange.
But after a year of using natural, organic and herbal skincare, the smell of REN does not offend me at all.
This is a potent formula which suits all skin types apart from those prone to sensitivity. With anything like this though, it’s always best to do a patch test behind your ear or on your arm. I haven’t experienced any problems and continue to use this twice a month.
This product is free from parabens, sulphates, synthetic fragrances and mineral oils. It has not been tested on animals. It cost £32 for a 75ml tube and is available from REN website and stockists (such as M&S, John Lewis and Space NK)

I love the fact that this is a 1 minute facial as I definitely usually don't have the time to sit around with a facemask on!

I am all for this. If it got rid of pores, that would be a total plus. I am a fan of clay masks but they're messy to wash off! Plus I love citrus flavored masks because it's so clean. 🙂

I really want to try this, I love a quick working product I've heard quite a few people who say that they use this in the morning too! Sounds really nice though I'm sure the vitamin C probably works to brighten dull skin too which is just what I need at the mo 🙂 great review x

My skin was just starting to clear up, but it inevitably broke out again 🙁 I regularly use cleanser and tea tree oil, but maybe I need to upgrade to including face masks to my routine, or go fancier with this one-minute facial 😛 -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey's // PS: tagged you here 🙂
I've been wanting to try REN for so long now and this product sounds like a perfect place to start! Great review Sarah, as always x

I'm really tempted to try more from REN as it seems to be quite a good brand. I'll have to keep this product in mind as I've heard more and more about it recently. xx

I really love the REN products I've tried but this doesn't really appeal to me because like yourself, I much prefer to sit and relax with a face mask and not only that I tend to only go with clay masks so i've been eyeing up the REN Clarimatte detox mask (which is also a fraction of the price of this!) because I have combination/oily skin 🙂
