Jumper* F&F / Shirt* (old) Glamorous / Skater Skirt New Look

Trying to make a Christmas jumper look stylish is pretty darn challenging but this one from F&F is nice and subtle! It still has a festive vibe about it but it’s also quite muted which makes it’s acceptable to wear throughout December without looking like Christmas threw up on me.
With a voucher I had for F&F, I picked this grey jumper and as you can see, it’s light grey knit that has strands of metallic silver weaving in and out of the wool, with big white reindeers on the front of it. It’s a soft knit – even with the addition of the metallic woven in to it – which makes a change from the rough and itchy ones from Primark (I LOVE ’em, I think they’re so much fun but you really do get what you pay for!).
It also has faceted plastic gems sewn in to it, and there isn’t a lot of them scattered about but it’s not a embellishment that I’m digging, so I might remove them! I always feel bad for picking off beads and sequins off of clothes because I think of the people who have spent so much time sewing them in but in this particular case, I don’t think the plastic grey gems adds anything to it. It doesn’t sparkle and I think they’re too big but….I’m not sure, what do you guys think? Shall I leave them on or do I pick them off?
The jumper looks great on it’s own but with the neckline being round and wide, I thought it looks better on me to layer it with a shirt underneath. I love this white shirt from Glamorous that has a lovely lace hem, it looks cute with knitswear!
The reindeer jumper was £22 but it is now on sale for £15 so if you’re looking for a Christmas jumper that’s not loud, colourful and in-your-face, this might just be the one for you this year!
To see what else I got from F&F, come and check out my recent haul!

  1. It's such a cute jumper! Your attention to detail is quite special, especially what you add for collars and hemlines. The lace trim makes the outfit quite dressed up, but not too much.

I was debating a Primark Christmas jumper but you've reminded me of how itchy they tend to be.

  2. Grey is definitely an underrated color. I love how you paired your jumper with a lace shirt underneath. I've been meaning to go thrift shopping for a cozy Christmas sweater! I'd like to get an oversized one that falls over my fingertips (I need to buy gloves haha), and I really wouldn't even mind if it was an ugly Christmas sweater. Yours on the other hand is very, very pretty 🙂 Hmm, I personally might like it better with the gems off, because with the gems on, the reindeer look a bit muted compared to the contrasting gems -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey's
