Cloud 9 Touch Hair Straighteners GIVEAWAY

Cloud nine touch, cloud nine hair straighteners
Cloud 9 Hair Straighteners*
£99 from Paul’s Hair World
I think it’s pretty safe to say that ladies my age will agree that if there’s one single hair and beauty appliance we can bow down with appreciation to, it’s hair straighteners! We know that there’s frizzy hair and then there’s ~frizzy~ hair, am I right? I don’t know if the appreciation for hair straighteners is truly understood amongst young girls of today who all long for perfectly tousled hair or gorgeous curls in the style of Cheryl Fernandez-Versini. I, too, have moved on with the times by favouring curled hair over straight but straighteners will always be an essential hair tool for me on the days where my long locks need taming, or even using it to style said curls! If mine broke, I would replace it in a heartbeat!
For us gals who are now in our late twenties/early thirties, straighteners were an absolute life changer! Back then, having sleek, shiny and poker straight hair to swish around all day long was a big deal to us! It comes as no surprise that we have formed a strange emotional attachment to them, probably because they saved us from walking in to school every morning hair that resembles Hargrid and for that we are eternally thankful! Would our lives be different if hair straighteners weren’t invented? As a whole, probably not, but from a girl’s point of view, thank god for their existence! High five to that!
Cloud nine touch, cloud nine hair straighteners
The choices of straighteners we have these days is huge, and it’s also nice to see that men have embraced the use of them too! The thing to remember when picking a new one is that the plates themselves are made of good quality material as this is what will help you achieve longer lasting sleek and shiny hair. And believe me, I’ve experimented with my share of straightening tools and you really get what you pay for, the results are noticeable.
I have teamed up with Paul’s Hair World to tell you more about Cloud Nine and also to offer one lucky person to win a set for themselves! A little Christmas present from us to you!
Cloud nine touch, cloud nine hair straighteners

Cloud Nine Luxury The Touch gift set cost £99 from Paul’s Hair World, and comes with a limited edition heatproof bag and the straighteners themselves, of course. It is an award-winning hair tool that has mineral infused plates so when you use them, it helps conditions your hair. The black ceramic iron plates gets hot, so you are still going to cause a small bit of damage (as with all heat appliances) but if you’ve ever used a cheap set that absolutely frazzles your hair, you’ll quickly learn to grasp on to words like “adds shine” and “conditions”. I would still suggest applying heat protector, just to give it that extra protection.

The unique selling point of this model is that it heats up automatically and instantly on the very moment you start using it, so you don’t have to wait around whilst it heats up, you can use the C9 Touch immediately after plugging it in. It can also detect when you’ve stopped using it and cool itself down and automatically switches off after 30 seconds of inactivity.

There are two heat settings which display in LED with red indicating it’s at 195C and blue for 165C. You snap the plates together quickly three times for 165 and snap twice for 195. I think that this is a really cool way to change the temperature and anything with LED lights on is always fancy!

I’ve been very attached to my ghd’s which I’m sure I bought in 2001 or around that time, and because they’re so old, I had wondered if I should get a new set. Cloud Nine have not let me down and have been the perfect replacement, it’s also nice to have a choice of temperature too. I like to use them at the 165 as it tames my hair without it going completely flat. I have thick hair but the plates on Cloud Nine Touch glides over hair without snagging or pulling, and you can even use them to curl aswell!

Heat protection spray – no point in using straighteners if your hair is dry and damaged!

Aside from tools I love Boots Coconut & Almond leave in conditioner, it's ridiculously cheap and one of the best leave in conditioners I've used x

I'd say hairspray or texturising spray. It's all good having super straight hair but it needs a little helping hand to keep it like that, or to add a bit extra oomph! x

What a fantastic giveaway, I hear great things about the Cloud 9 hair straighteners. My can't live without hair product would have to be the Lee Stafford hair growth mask, it does nothing in terms of hair growth (what product could) but it always leaves my hair looking incredibly healthy! 🙂 xx
