Here it is! This is the jumper of my dreams! As soon as I saw it, I knew it had to be mine! I love it but I’m a little sad because the quality is not up to scratch, and the wrist part of the sleeves are already beginning to become quite slack and I reckon the whole jumper will just start misshaping with more wear and after a couple of washes. Don’t you just hate it when that happens?! Maybe I’m too picky or I’m just really careful where I spend my money now but Topshop’s quality should be way better for the price they charge so that we can keep their lovely clothes in good shape for years and years! I love their designs and the fit from the petite section is perfect for a girl my height – I can’t fault that – but I wish they would take the quality up a notch. Just a wee bit! That’s the reason why I’ve not bought much from Topshop this year – but I couldn’t resist this little jumper, I love anything with love hearts on, it’s so cute! Actually, I think that it’s the first thing I’ve purchased from them since last June (I’ve been looking back on my blog archives to find that out!).
Perhaps I should have worn a plain white shirt underneath but I really love the lace on the hem of the one I opted for, it makes the outfit more interesting (not that it needs to look any better, those little hearts sell themselves!) It’s not quite the weather for layering up but as I went without a coat, I think it made a nice outfit for this time of year. I could take my jumper off if I’m roasting, and just wear the pretty blouse on it’s own, so it’s kind of like two outfits in one!
