After doing a fashion blog #followfriday last week, I thought I would balance things out with a dedicated beauty blogger one today! I’m a fan of both fashion and beauty, but at the moment, I’m leaning more towards the latter as I’m spending more on products that clothes these days. This will soon change in the next few months when I turn to the advice of my favourite style bloggers. I hate winter fashion and need all the help I can to stay in the loop with all things trendy!
So, this week’s blog recommendations are three UK beauty blogs. People might thinks that beauty blogging (and any genre, really) is easy and in a way, yes, it is fairly simple. Trial products, take photographs, form opinions based on performance, write it up and research some facts, etc. Anyone can pick up a camera and start a blog. But the question is, with SO many beauty blogs out there, how do you even get people to visit your site in the first place? How do you get them to stay interested? And that’s where the hard work begins. I do believe that these days to stand out from the crowd and that it’s about time that we shout about the new ones. I read loads of beauty blogs and I’m always keen to add more to my reading list so if you have one that you’d like to recommend, please feel free to let me know!
Here are the ones I’d like to tell you about this week!
My Fair Pixel – by Kelly

Kelly’s blog is a bit different to the others. The beauty posts are just part of a bigger picture, My Fair Pixel is a very professional looking website where Kelly showcases her work in photography and retouching. Needless to say, her blog photos are clear, bright and stunning, and is one of the reasons why I followed her. It is small details like that which makes people look at your website in the first place.

The Sunday Girl – By Adrienne

I think a lot of you will have already heard of this blog but I think she deserves a shout out because Adrienne is one the hardest working bloggers publishing up to four posts a day! She wrote 113 blogposts in July alone – which makes my 30 look really lame! If you want up to date and sneak previews, hop over to The Sunday Girl!

Cherry Pie – By Cherry

I’ve followed Cherry’s blog for a long time and actually, I was looking through one of my very first outfit of the day posts in 2011 and spotted a comment from her so it seems we have been reading each other’s blogs for years now! It’s nice to see her blog grow and go from strength to strength. Visit Cherry’s blog where you will find a mixture of style and beauty posts – but her beauty posts are my fave!
I’ll be back with this feature next Friday to recommend another set of blogs!
