A girl can never have too many blushes, I’m sure you’ll agree! I don’t think there’s a shade in the Liz Earle Healthy Glow Creme Blush range that I don’t like. There’s only 7 shades available but each and every one of them are simply beautiful!
Usually, I don’t get on with cream blushes as much as powders but this cream blush was very easy to apply! If you’ve never used these types of blush before but want to give it a go, I’d say this one from Liz Earle would be the perfect as your first one! I know it’s quite expensive but with all Liz Earle products, you get what you pay for in terms of quality, high performance and safe ingredients.
Enriched with Vitaman E, Healthy Glow Cream Blush is a really gorgeous creamy formula which transfers on to your skin so smoothly and evenly, enhancing your cheeks with a streak-free pop of colour. It isn’t super shiny and definitely not greasy but it leaves a radiant glow due to it’s gorgeously light and dewy finish.
I have it in shade Nectar 06 which is a beautiful fresh rose pink that suits my skin tone so perfectly. It looks really bright upon first impressions but the first layer of application is really sheer to leave a natural looking flush of pink. I like my blush to be quite bright so I’ve built the colour up two or three times on my cheeks each. The first time I used this, I didn’t have any base product on and the blush didn’t last as long – I had to reapply a couple of times, but it’s honestly so easy to use, application takes about ten seconds! It’s really is as quick and easy as applying lipgloss, the creamy textures makes it really effortless! However, to make it last longer, I have had to add a layer of BB cream or primer underneath to make the blush “stick” on to my skin but I almost always pop primer on anyway. Just not when I’m popping off to do the food shop! This product is a multi-tasker too because you can apply the colour to your lips!
As this has a dewy, glowy finish, I’m not sure how those with oil-prone skin would feel about this blush. I don’t have oily skin (only sometimes on my forehead) but I can imagine this blush might make your cheeks look extra shiny. It doesn’t cling on to patches of skin so those who have dry skin might get on better with it! I would definitely recommend you all to check this out next time you’re at the Liz Earle counter! It will be love at first swatch!
Liz Earle Healthy Glow Cream Blush are available on their website, selected Boots stores, Fenwicks and John Lewis at RRP £16.50. To see how to apply the blush, watch this tutorial video.

  2. Preeeettyyy! I have never tried a cream blush, but I like how they look – I think maybe they are a bit more natural looking? Anyway this is a super pretty colour, I think I would be a bit put off by it if I saw it in a shop, because it looks super red, but the colour looks really nice in the swatch photo!
