NIVEA In-Shower Body Moisturiser* – £3.56
By now, a lot of you will have heard about NIVEA’s In-Shower Body Moisturisers but more excitingly, there are two new additions within the range! This time last year, NIVEA launched a very unique product which was a body moisturiser that you can use whilst you’re in the shower. This saves people a lot of time, as we all know that moisturising can be a bit of a pain. I’ve never enjoyed the process because I get either really hot or really cold after a shower and all I want to do is get out of the bathroom and put my clothes, especially in the mornings! This means I often forget to moisturise!
I’ve been using the almond oil one for dry skin, which doesn’t really have that much of a fragrance to it. I’ve included it in my recent Top 5 Summer Beauty Essentials but have since then learned that two new In-Showers have recently launched. Cocoa Butter and Honey are the two new releases that I, for one, have welcomed these with open arms! I like shower and bath products that smell yummy so I couldn’t wait to try these out!
If you haven’t heard or tried these products before, basically what you do is you apply these while you’re in the shower and your rinse it off before you get out. It moisturises your body so you don’t need to apply an additional body butter afterwards. You would still need to use a shower gel as the moisturisers do not have any cleansing properties, but in terms of affordability and convenience, it’s a great product! I think you’d agree that the best thing about it is how handy it is and how much it saves so much time!
The two original editions are pretty much odourless but now they are available in two gorgeous scents! Both the cocoa butter, and honey leaves your skin smelling really good and I couldn’t pick which one I like the most, but I think I am leaning towards the cocoa butter a bit more than the honey. But honestly, they are both amazing! The moisturiser doesn’t leave a residue, it literally just rinses off to leave your skin feeling smooth and soft for up to 24 hours.
The only bad thing that I’ll say about it is that it leaves the bath tub very very very slippery so always remember to clean the bath tub with clear water before you get out. I didn’t do this the first time I used it and almost did the splits! Ha! Be careful, especially if you have young kids who like to literally jump in to the bath! It is fine as long as you remember to remove the remaining residue from the tub, it rinses out very easily.

When its really hot, I must have a spray mist to cool myself down. I love the Caudalie Beauty Elixir because the scent is just so comforting to me and it has natural ingredients to care for my skin also, not just water like some sprays. I just have to have this especially when travelling! 🙂
