This is just one of the many playsuits that I’ve got for the summer! I’m really liking the grid print trend, I think it’s more wearable than gingham (even though I do love a bit of gingham!). For a walk, it is definitely more practical than a dress and that’s coming from a dress-aholic! Well, an ex dress-aholic. I’ve curbed my dress addiction… with playsuits, it appears!
In my previous outfit blog post, I’m wearing this off-white lace kimono. It is so pretty and I love it but I also mentioned in that particular post I wasn’t having any luck with finding things to go with it and that it suits pastel colours more. It went with my blue and orange floral shorts really well but I have gone back on my word here  because I think it goes with my monochrome grid print playsuit even better! What do you guys think, which outfit do you prefer? And what do you think of the grid print trend?
To add a bit of colour to the outfit, we have here, a super beautiful red dog lead here… ONLY JOKING! I wore my pretty pastel pink satchel which is from The Leather Satchel Co. All of their bags are handmade in Britain, and the craftsmanship that goes in to these satchels are simply amazing. When the bag arrives, you just know that you’ve got the finest quality bag that will last you for years. I decided to go for a candy floss pink in 11″ satchel size but there are so much choice of colours to choose from. The Leather Satchel Co., founded in 1966, offers a lot more customisation options than just monogram so that you can add a personal touch to it and get a bag produced that suits your needs. Extra personalisation options include adding a handle, increasing the gusset, extend the straps or add straps to wear as a backpack, add shoulder pad, swap silver hardware to gold and the best one of all, add magnetic clasp fasteners!  I wanted to keep the straps quite classic but the magnetic clasps are definitely easier to fasten the satchel. The extra customisation I got was silver monogram (my initials) and a handle. I also got a handle added on to my satchel, and I love how it flattens the top of the bag.
I suppose, in a way, this is the pup’s first outfit post – and most likely the last – she’s a nightmare to photograph! Doesn’t she look pretty in her yellow polka dot harness? It also has a big daisy on the back, but I don’t actually remember seeing it so maybe it fell off! So, we took Bonnie for a quick walk around town and I thought it would be a good idea to get some outfit photos towards the end of our route, but as it turns out, it wasn’t as easy as I thought! She just gets so excited every time someone shows her a bit of attention, and boy, does she lap it up! As you can see from the last photo, it looks like she ended up getting kind of bored! (I don’t think she was, it’s just she blinked at the time the photo was taken…. I think!!) But anyway, we left soon after so that she could have a nap! She is soooo cute, and she sure knows it! I can’t believe how much I love her!!!
