I have been a terrible fashion/style blogger this past month! I’ve been itching to get back in to the swing of outfit posts for ages! I’ve been knuckling down with all of my beauty posts whilst I’ve waited very patiently for the good weather! As it has indeed been a few weeks since my last outfit post, I thought I’d make this a good one! I have had this lace kimono for a few months now but I have found some similar ones which you can have a look on the thumbnail slider. I wasn’t sure what to wear with it as most of my clothes were either black or has a dark pattern on them. I think the cream kimono suits a lighter, more pastel-y outfit! And as Summer has finally arrive, I can finally get my florals and lace out (although I’m not keeping my hopes up that it will remain this way… It is an extremely grey and cloud sight right now)
These floral shorts are from Own The Runway, one of the first brands that noticed my little blog a few years ago. There are a part of a co-ord set, so there is also a matching top too. I love the co-ord trend but I haven’t found one that I’ve fallen in love with yet. Most of the ones I have seen are quite bold in print and colour, and if I’m going to wear a two-piece, then I’d probably prefer it to be quite a subtle pattern. I really love these floral shorts on it’s own with a simple white camisole, though. The cami I am wearing here is from Primark, I think it was £3 and it’s got a padded bust which is good for me as I lack the goods in that area!
I added a few little accessories to go with this outfit. My pastel green bag from Brit-Stitch (a summer favourite!), a gold coloured name necklace (very Carrie Bradshaw!), a very pretty little daisy ring from Pandora and a rose gold Citizen watch from their Eco-DRIVE collection. I have been wanting a watch like this for ages but I usually make do with either my strappy watches or my phone to tell the time. I think it makes a great alternative to the super popular Michael Kors watches. I think that by now, a lot of you may be searching for something different, and the Citizen DRIVE watch could just be it! I had to get a few links taken on which meant I had to wait a while until I could wear it! (I got my dad to do it, y’see! He likes to take his time with these things!) It’s lovely and shiny with tiny crystal stones around the bezel of the watch. I was a little bit worried that the diamantes would be too much, because I don’t really like anything sparkly like that but it looks so much nicer in real life, my photos don’t do it justice! The sparkles add a little something to it, and it’s actually really nice and it’s actually not too shiny! A chunky rose gold watch is exactly what this delicate outfit needs!

Great outfit – I can't believe that cami is a £3 Primark find! I've been looking for similar for months and it was there at a bargain price all along… Great shorts and I love Pandora's rings at the moment. I've just bought the sparkly bow ring, and I can't stop looking at it! CC x
Such a beautiful look, Sarah! I adore your kimono. 🙂

Such a pretty outfit! It looks so sweet and elegant 🙂
Lovely outfit, looks so romantic and fresh <3
Those shorts are beautiful – I love the pattern! I would love my own name necklace but so many places only do 8 letters which is so damn frustrating when my name is 9. x

This is such a beautiful outfit and perfect for summer. I have early memories of my mum always wearing a white blouse open over her outfit etc on holiday, in kimono style I guess, which is what this reminds me of.
