Where To Buy: Laced Up Ankle Boots

black laced up ankle boots, where to buy laced up ankle boots
Whenever I post a photo of these boots on social media, I always get asked where I got them from. They are old, I bought them 3 years ago from Kurt Geiger and they are no longer available. At the time, I purchased them as an alternative to the Topshop Allegra boots (remember them?) that every blogger jumped on. I loved the Allegras too but my stupid ankles are too narrow for those types of boots and it doesn’t fill them out, and that isn’t a good look on me, so I went on a search for something similar that I could lace up. I thought that these Kurt Geiger ankle boots were a great alternative and they are one of the best pair of shoes I’ve ever bought. Here are just a few outfits I’ve worn them with (and here’s an OOTD video):
outfit ideas from fashion blogger, what to wear with laced up ankle boots
A couple of weeks ago when ASOS posted an OOTD photo of mine on their Instagram, it was those boots that got the most attention so I decided to do the hard work for you and browse the world wide web to find the 5 best ankle boots dupes. There are loads that are zip-ups and slip-ons but it was difficult to look for the Kurt Geiger dupes because there wasn’t all that much about there that hit these specific criteria; black, suede, chunky heel, laces and ankle height. However, I found a few and there are my top picks! (note: there are also a pair of laced up ankle boots from Topshop but I couldn’t get the image to save to that is why it isn’t included in the pic below!)

1 and 3 are my favourites!! I really want a pair of boots like these!
I have a pair similar, but isn't really black and the Shoe Sole isn't really strong and nice 😡

Anyway, thank you for the tips!!
Take care, have a nice day!*

I love your black fedora hat! I think they're perfect to add to any outfit, but i'm finding it exceptionally hard to find a shop that sells a good one!

These boots are gorgeous and thanks for taking the time to search for dupes. I like the Steve Madden ones the most (Nr3) but Nr 1 looks great as well! Are yours actually comfy?

It feels like I have been looking for a pair of black suede leather desert booties for ages now. Everywhere I look, there's something not quite right, either the sole is too thick or the heel is yellow and not black or the shoe isn't even made out of leather.. It's driving me nuts! Thanks for the list 🙂

I've always loved these types of boots and I actually own the Topshop pair you mentioned above and I basically live in them! I really want to buy more after seeing all the lovely pairs you've mentioned above too haha 🙂 xx

Such awesome boots! I think I'm going to have to find a pair… I've been looking for some "wear with everything" black ankle boots, and I have a similar problem as you that they are usually too wide for my ankles!! Thanks for the suggestions 🙂
