What I Wore: 50 Shades Of Pink

What to wear pink jacket with, how to wear pink

I’m not really wear fifty shades of pink, but it sure feels like it! As part of a collaboration with Pago Premium Fruit Juice (yum!), I’ve been asked to style a fashion-forward outfit inspired by my favourite flavour of Pago Juice. Scroll down for details on why I’ve collaborated with them! I’ve sampled a whole range of their mouth-watering fruity drinks, flavours which includes orange, cloudy apple, cherry, pink grapefruit, and mango.
The one I love the most was the strawberry, with the peach flavour coming a close second. Going forward with the project, I went to my wardrobe to pick my fruitiest looking attire. I couldn’t believe it, I realised I had very little in bright, vibrant colours. I didn’t even have that many red or pink items, What was I going to do!
When it comes to accessories, I’ve got an array of choices but I was struggled to find anything appropriate other than my bright pink blazer from Topshop. I know that strawberries are red in their natural (and beautifully delicious) state but when it comes to commercial fashion and beauty products, strawberry inspired/flavours always gets a girly pink makeover! So, I took this and ran with it!
I almost always pair the pink blazer with my white lace shirt, I think the two goes together like peas and carrots! See it here styled with a pair of black skinny jeans. It just so happens that the ribbon is a berry colour and this gave me the idea to work shades of red and pink in to my outfit whilst the blazer remains as the “key” piece of the ensemble. I painted my nails in a bubblegum “minnie mouse” pink to match my pastel coloured bag, and finished it off with cute little red love heart ring!
I love this outfit but it can be a little out of someone’s comfort zone. Depending on where I am – and bear in mind that I live in the most un-fashionable town – I also get a little self-conscious wearing something so bright. So below along with links on where to purchase these clohes, I have created a style mood board inspired by Burberry SS14 collection. This moodboard shows an up-to-date way of wearing pink with the latest arrivals on the high street.
Now here is the FUN bit! The bit where you can all get involved in Pago’s What’s Your Flavour S/S14 Campaign to win a gorgeous Cambridge Satchel! They have five Cambridge Satchels to give away, and if you’d like to be in with a chance to win 1 of 5, then all you have to do is pick a Pago flavour and take inspiration for LFW SS14 (like I have, above) to create an outfit or a moodboard.
It can be a selfie, or an outfit photo taken by a friend, or perhaps you’d like to go all out and design your outfit moodboard via Polyvore or Picmonkey. A blog post is not necessary, so literally anyone can enter, not just bloggers. Head over to Pago Facebook Page to upload your photo or moodboard before noon on 28/02/14. Good luck, can’t wait to see all your entries! Full terms & conditions on Pago Facebook Page.

  1. I just love your pink blazer! It definitely looks perfect with your white lace blouse. Such an adorable outfit all around. I love how the pink ribbon you're wearing ties in with the blazer so perfectly.

  2. You look stunning!
I love the blouse with the virbant pink, makes it even more vibrant *_* And the bow is just too cute! Strawberry is almost always my favorite flavour so I'd love to taste the drink :3
