primark haul, primark s/s 14 range
1. Palm Tree Top £8.00 / 2. Cropped Shirt £10 / 3. Pink Biker Jacket £25 / 4. Gingham Dress £20 / 5. Denim Shorts £12 / 6. Handbag £6 / 7. Metal Watch £5
At the turn of each season, one of the first places I check out is Primark (of course!) and their latest collection has been rather pleasing on the eye! Since September, I must have popped in to Primark about ten times, each time with money I’m very willing to part with, but apart from the tartan dress and a Christmas jumper, nothing else has really caught my eye! With a few things added to my mental S/S wish list already, I can feel a haul coming up! The seven items I’ve picked out here are all rather sugary sweet but I’ve seen a few “edgier” things I want too. We’ve seen a big trend in powder pink during Winter and it looks like pink is here to stay for another season along with gingham and oversized Michael Kors-style watches.
I hope the cropped shirt comes in a few other different colours and not that I need another pair of denim shorts but I’d love a pair with lace detailing which makes it much more feminine. I love the bag and I’m not sure if I’ve written to right price down when I made notes. I’m pretty sure it said £6, but it just seems too cheap for a bag – even for Primark!
I don’t know about you but I am really excited for Spring to come round again. Longer days, warmer weather, the flexibility to go out and take outfit photos whenever you want!! I don’t think I’ve ever as obsessed with checking the weather forecast as I have this Autumn and Winter! Now that it’s February, we can look forward to the weather getting warmer… it might not seem it at the moment, but hang tight, the sun will come out to play soon! This time of year is when I most enjoy shopping for clothes! As I have mentioned before, I am not one bit keen on A/W fashion. Ever year, I say to myself that I’ll embrace it, but I never do! I hate layering, it makes me feel chunky, irritated and claustrophobic. I’m definitely of a Spring/Summer girl, it’s more flattering on me and I find it easier to throw something on and make it look half decent! All of the lovely, colourful and lightweight clothing makes me so happy and I just want EVERYTHING (sorry, bank balance!)

  1. Totally know what you mean about checking the weather constantly! and on the new iphone ios7 weather app- when it's really raining- it has a little cute animation of rain! ahhh… which I love on my phone when it does because it's quite exciting to see but in theory not so great for blogging outfits! I'm really excited about this new Spring stuff you've shown by Primark! I'm loving the gingham dress! That will most definitely be on my list for my holiday! looks like a nice length too! I'm the same as you not keen at all on A/W fashion I'm bored to death of black tights and layers! I pine for the days with just a pretty summer dress and a cardigan! x

  2. Oh love everything you have here!
I went to primark the other day and they had really amazing and pretty dresses. I might buy one or two for the spring and summer seasons.
The shorts are also really pretty :3
Take care, have a nice day!*

  3. I've been loving quite a few of Primark's pieces this season. There's a bag I picked up today similar to the one you posted and it's gorgeous! I'm buying up a few of the pieces in smaller sizes so it gives me an incentive to lose weight for the spring lmao!

  4. Oh gosh… My local Primark never seem to have any of these amazing looking items. There are some, but only if I'm very lucky that day I will find it in my size haha. Hope everything is well over your end lovely! Catch up soon via email! <3

  5. I can't wait to see the cropped shirt and gingham dress in my local Primark – I need those in my life! I'm also an S/S girl than A/W… I embraced it this year but I ended up dressing too casual for my liking! xx

  6. Oh wow, I love everything in his post! I especially love the gingham dress and pastel pink shirt. I'm so excited for Spring too Sarah, as soon as the warmer weather comes around again it is perfectly acceptable to go on a huge S/S shopping spree right? 🙂 xx

  7. I agree, I'm experiencing sartorial delays every single day because I loathe winter. Let's hope Spring isn't too far away. Gorgeous pieces you've selected- so happy the pink trend is here to stay!! 🙂 xx
