January Round Up
This is actually the first Instagram “round up” post that I’ve done on my blog. If you’re an avid blog reader, you’ll have seen these round ups floating around all over the place, especially when Instagram became really popular last year since making it available on Android.
As I didn’t feel very positive in the month of January, I wanted to do this little round up. Not that Instagram puts anything in to perspective, but I’d like to have something to look back on and think “January wasn’t too bad, see!”. It really works when you take a step back and look at the bigger picture. Sometimes I get so bogged down with one problem, that by the end of the week, it turns into being the biggest issue in my head. So, as you can see, I had a very pink month and I got to play with a lot of pretty things that I got for Christmas! Outfit posts were rare due to the disgusting weather but that’s all about to change! I wrote up a lot of beauty posts in the meantime of all the products I’ve enjoyed using during the cold season. What a saviour they’ve all been! I particularly LOVED Porefessional Agent Zero Shine, HealGel, my new Yankee candles, the Bomb Cosmetics stuff and Benefit’s Lollitint!

  1. Looking at your instagram photos I'm seeing a huge pastel theme. I've struggled to get outfit posts up in January, the weather has been terrible and with uni deadlines and long days, I've not been around at a good time when it's light enough to take them. Hopefully this month I'll be able to get back into that routine.

  2. Your photos are always so gorgeous Sarah! I really enjoyed your review of the Lollitint and the NARS blush which looks stunning. Hope you have a really great February!x

  3. That's a good idea, looking back at the things you DID achieve rather than those you didn't always keeps things in perspective. Seriously though Sarah, could your photos get any more perfect? This explosion of pastel and beautifulness makes me very content!
