Rosa Centifolia 3-in-1 Cleansing Water* – £13.00
Rosa Centifolia Express Make-Up Remover* – £13.00

There are so many products in the REN skincare range, I just want to try them all! My favourite type of skincare products are cleaners which I use twice a day, and when a cleanser works so well to clear your skin, it’s a joy to use. Sometimes when I haven’t had make up on all day though, I’ll just splash a bit of cold water on my face. On those rare occasions/lazy days, I have no excuse to cleanse because I have been introduced to the two following products into my life!
REN 3-in-1 Cleansing Water is a refreshing cleanser, toner and make-up remover. You don’t have to rinse this off so it is really perfect for my lazy moods because I can clean my face whilst I’m watching TV! It is so easy to use, all it requires is a few drops on a couple of cotton pads. My skin didn’t take to this very well for the first couple of weeks. At first, it left my skin feeling dry. If you’ve not had good experience with toners, this might be the same for you too. I decided to persist with it so I had to switch to a more hydrating moisturiser (Liz Earle Superskin Moisturiser) to combat the dryness. Changing moisturisers seems to have done the trick and the cleansing water worked well when combined with the right products within the skincare routine.

The idea of this product really appealed to me because of it’s convenience. You can even put some into a smaller bottle and use it on the go. I travelled to London a few times last month by train and usually carry make-up remover wipes for the return journey but they are bad for your skin, so having something like this gentle 3-in-1 Cleansing Water means you can continue with your skincare routine whilst you’re on the go. It’s a godsend when it has been a long day, such a convenient beauty product.

Express Make-Up Remover is a milky consistency, a calming and soothing formula which contains Tannins from Rose Centifolia to reduce the size of pores. This one is suitable for dry skin so it helps to hydrate and nourish. It’s a great make up remover but not the best that I’ve used. It doesn’t remove eye make up very easily, and when you rub more product in to the eye, it just really stings! Again, like the Cleansing Water, this doesn’t require rinsing so it is another great one to carry in your handbag, or overnight bag. All you need is one or two of the bigger cotton pads. Both of these products are great for lazy days or at times when you’re staying at a friend’s house) just because this is what I’ve always done!

REN products do not contain parabens or silicones, and their range are more accessible as ever now they are stocked in selected Marks&Spencer stores.

  1. I really want to try their products but they're not in my price range just now, thanks for your review 🙂 your really thorough descriptions are really helpful for beauty products. x

  2. I seriously need to check REN's SkinCare. I've heard about an online store that sells them and doesn't charge shipping. That cleansing water may be a nice alternative to bioderma.

    Lovely post :3
Please take care, have a nice day!*
