Shirt* American Vintage via Vente Privee / Hat Miss Selfridge / Jacket ASOS  / Jeans Miss Selfridge / Shoes* Freed Of London / Sunnies ASOS

I’ve never heard of American Vintage or Vente Privee until now, and discovering new brands is another reason why I love blogging! Excitingly, I was asked to style the model to wear for a promotional video (above) with a possibility of go to Paris to meet Vente Privee and go behind the scenes on the day of the video shoot. The trip didn’t end up happening (sob) but I was still excited to see the final video!

The shirt I am wearing in my outfit photos is one of the items I picked. It was one of the first items I added to my Autumn wardrobe this year! And the hat is very similar to the one that the world and his wife has got, but as the Topshop one is too big for my head, I bought this Fedora hat from Miss Selfridge. I didn’t mean to buy a new hat but I got sad that my floppy hat is now completely out of shape! I stored in a bag for about a week, and it went all squished and crooked! I think I’ve broken it, but it is currently being flattened down with lots of heavy “coffee table books”.

So! More about Vente-Privee! If you love a good bargain and limited time flash sales, then definitely check out Paris-based Vente Privee. They have teamed up with a high end French brand, American Vintage, to offer a huge sale on their collections. Although Vente Privee is a sale/discount website, it still has that classy European feel to it, unlike something like Groupon, but that’s probably due to the fancy brands they collaborate with, like Versace, Donna Karan, Levi’s, and Prada. If there’s ever a chance to grab a bargain, I’m there with bells on!

  2. You look gorgeous Sarah, I really love your shirt! I hope your floppy hat regains it's shape after it's stint with the books. I've never heard of Vente Privee but I'm going to check it out. I've shopped with sites like Brand Alley, Achica and Secret Sales before, and quite like the timed sale idea 🙂 xx

  3. I realise you need to have adverts on your blog to make money and I am fine with most ads, but this current one for the film 'Justin' is making your blog pretty much unreadable for me – it took me ages to get past the thing taking up the whole screen and then I could not get the sound to stop. Really annoying and offputting. When I finally did get to your outfit post it was lovely, but please can you consider getting rid of intrusive pop up ads like that! I love reading your blog, I would hate to give up on it like I have on some others because of irritating ads.

  4. I adore this whole outfit! That shirt is gorgeous and the whole look is just so pretty but effortless looking 🙂 I'm really glad I saw the hat on your blog because I have a bloody tiny head and I've been getting a bit desperate trying to find a nice new hat! xoxo

  5. I like American Vintage – they do some great pieces but I am yet to add anything from their brand to my wardrobe. That blouse you're wearing is so awesome, I love love the print!

  6. Vente Privée is basically a French sales website. Always found great deals on there and not only clothing! I highly recommend this website. However, delivery is quite long (about 5 weeks in France)… Then, American Vintage is quite famous down here too and present in Gallerie Lafayette and other shopping places like it 🙂
