Dress Topshop / Jewellery Temporary:Secretary shop / Bag Mulberry / Shoes* Chatham Marine

A very bright outfit today! I bought this orange dress from Topshop for my first meeting with Malibu Rum but ended up wearing a white blouse, black skinnies and black shoes. It’s a really bright dress, and it came in handy for my headshot for Malibu, which you should be able to see in next week’s LOOK Magazine! There is a mini mag promoting the Summer campaign, I’ve yet to grab a copy so can’t tell you much more at the moment, but it is something I’ve been working on since last month. I’m going to Malibutique, their pop-up event, in Liverpool this Saturday so if you’re around, come and check it out! Nails Inc are going to be there to give the ladies free manicures, Toni&Guy are on hand to prep you hair, helping you get ready for a night out and of course, there will be some Malibu cocktails to enjoy! It’s all free so if you happen to be in Liverpool this weekend, pop in and visit, and hopefully I’ll see you there!
Anyway – back to the outfit! So, I was shopping an outfit for an important meeting, I actually want this dress in the purple or indigo but I couldn’t find it in store. Out of last-minute-panic, I grabbed whatever colour was left and it happened to be this orange! It was more of a “do now, think later” moment! It works well on summery days like today! As I’m not quite ready for bare legs and flip flops, my footwear of choice for today was a pair of deck shoes from Chatham. I always complain about how uncomfortable my shoes are (even if they’re flats!), but this pair are so comfy! Chatham specialise in  marine clothing and footwear, I particularly like their range of boat shoes. You can bet your bottom dollar that they are 100% more comfortable than those from Topshop/Topman. The leather is really soft and the soles have a bounce to them! I only wish I got them a size smaller, but I’ll just have to buy another pair to add to my collection! Talking of which, I’ve got a shoe haul coming up for you this week, so keep your eyes peeled!
