ASOS at Malibutique 2013

Malibutique: Get Ready For A Girls Night Out With Malibu

SUMMER’S HERE!
BUT FIRST…. did anyone spot my page in LOOK Magazine (pictured below) this week? 🙂 I have been soooo excited about this for weeks, so I’m glad I can finally reveal this!

On Tuesday, I blogged an intro on Malibutique and now I’m going to show you what goes on inside one of these fun events. As well as all those yummy Malibu cocktails I showed you last time, there are also some big brands at the event to help you get ready for a girly night out!
There’s also exclusive discounts to be obtained, so when you get there just look out for points where you can scan your smart phones. It was particularly great to see ASOS there because you don’t normally get to see their clothes first hand before purchasing, so it was nice to see some of their S/S 13 range.
I have my eye on some of those floral pieces and neon accessories! I’ve also added this jumper to my wishlist, it’s got POM POMS on it! (Easily amused…) There’s a 20% discount for those who scan their phones at ASOS.

Nails Inc were there to paint our nails, so if you’re one of those ladies who don’t have much patience with painting nails then definitely take advantage of the free professional manicure! All of this is free as I mentioned in the last post, all you do is turn up with your friends and have fun!
To get your hair styled by Toni&Guy or nails manicured by Nails Inc, you just book a slot upon arrival. Nails take less than 10 minutes to do but hair may take about 15-20 minutes. My sister got her hair curled with some plaited braids in, whilst my cousin got her hair in a wavy pony tail.
The rest of the group got their hair done too, and this saved a lot of time in getting ready as you can imagine! I’m still not liking my hair after I got it cut so it’s firmly in a topknot! (I miss my long hair!)

The last thing we did was a fun group activity, so we gathered around the bar and got shown how to make a couple of cocktails. They wanted to demonstrate the many ways in which you can mix cocktails with Malibu. The Mali-Cosmo was our favourite, it’s a lot sweeter than usual Cosmos.

We actually went to Revolution at lunch time, prior to Malibutique, where we booked in to have a two hour cocktail masterclass. This was so much fun but it also meant that by the time we turned up for a cocktail lesson at Malibutique, we had the knowledge fresh in our minds! Even if we did have a long island ice tea or two!

Head over to this link to find out when and where the other Malibutique events are. Are you thinking of attending? It’s the perfect way to get ready for a girl’s night out!

  1. holy moly. this looks incredible. plus, i love malibu.. it's like a dream come true, asos and malibu!

  2. This sounds like the best day ever! I haven't had a Malibu for time and must remember to buy a bottle. I may not be able to lie on a Caribbean beach but I can imagine I'm there with a coconut inspired cocktail or two. Lovely post…life is about having fun. x
