April 2013 edition of UK Glossybox* is in collaboration with fashion and textiles designer, Pearl Lowe. I opened the box expecting it to be the usual pink but I am so pleased to see another special edition! This is possibly the prettiest one yet! The peach coloured vintage style floral design is right up my street and I must admit, it seems that we all seem love them more when Glossybox hasn’t “hyped” it up.
Does the content of this month’s Glossybox match up to the expectations? I’m pretty pleased with mine, it looked so summery and cheerful with products such as Nip + Fab Mango Body Butter which comes in vibrant yellow packaging and a gorgeous full size bottle of Essie nail polish in Sugar Daddy. I was eyeing this up when I was in Superdrug a few days ago because I’m searching for the perfect nail colour for a wedding. I’m going to be a bridesmaid for the first time this Summer! Essie’s Sugar Daddy is quite a typical polish for wedding and bridal wear, but my dress is quite a punchy pink, it’s almost a coral so I’m not really sure what to go for! I can’t actually remember what the bridesmaid dress actually looks like as I went for a fitting ages ago!
I’m pleased that a product from Balance Me is in the box this month. I’m not sure if everyone’s received this sample but I am a huge fan of Balance Me and I have recently done a review for this particular face mask. I’ve been raving about it to all my friends, and I’m addicted to using it because it leaves me skin feeling so soft which makes it easier to apply foundation for a flawless look. I also can’t wait to use the Richard Ward Optimiser Style Reviver, it counteracts frizz, increases shine and adds volume – all that without that stickiness you get from some hair products. I hope it is as good as it sounds! I’ve recently got my hair cut so I want to take care of it more so the condition maintains. I rarely get hair products in these beauty boxes, they’re always filled with skin care or body lotions. I’m keen to know what Glossybox users think of the Balance Me Radiance Face Mask, and also which shade of Essie polish you all got!
