Khaki and Lace

Top* inlovewithfashion / Coat Miss Selfridge (old) / Bag* House of Fraser / Shorts* Glamorous

Found this coat in one of our wardrobes at home and I had forgotten all about it. I bought it from Miss Selfridge when I was in my second year at uni so almost six years ago now. It’s quite a thin fabric and it isn’t lined so I’ll have to swap it for my thick winter coat soon! The top is from inlovewithfashion, it is nice and casual to wear during the day. A heads up if you had your eye on this from the website, the top is long at the back – at a quick glance, this isn’t very clear on the website. It’s not a gradual dipped hem, it’s just literally short on the front and long at the back. The stud buttons are a nice detail, and as I have mentioned before, I like gold and black!
I spent yesterday falsly living one hour ahead of everyone because I wore my watch for the first time in ages and I forgot to set it back an hour! I was rushing around when I thought it was nearing 5:30pm and I did wonder why no one else was doing the same thing! I wondered why everyone looked so unusually chilled around home time/rush hour. I felt so stupid when I realised! I’m off to watch the new Bradley Cooper film tonight (hopefully I won’t get my times mixed up!), I don’t know what the film is called and I don’t know what it’s about but I know I want to watch it because I like Bradley Cooper!

Ooh I love that top, the lace is so pretty & I really like the gold and black combination too. Haha I totally did the same thing last year, I'm always terrible for forgetting to change every watch/clock etc when the times change!

I love this coat, I have been looking at khaki ones for a while now and this would be ideal if it was just slightly thicker!
