I have blogged only twice in the past fortnight and although I am one of those people who believes that you should blog whenever you want or whenever you have time (and should never apologise for “not blogging”) but I really have felt bad for letting my blog To-Do list get longer and longer! Just when I think I’m up to date with my work, I turn the page in my planner only to reveal more work tasks that I’ve lined up for myself!
I recently bought lots of new clothes (they won’t be new by the time I get round to blogging about it) and I have also been on a few summery day trips which I’d love to tell you all about! Anyway, I want to let you all know what I’ve been up to and why I’ve not blogged regularly in the past two weeks. Firstly, I’ve photographed about 40 new products for my online shop and I’ve yet to edit the product photography. I want to make sure that I’m organised for the run up to Christmas but we’ll see how that goes!!!
Another thing that I mentioned rather briefly a couple of weeks ago is that I’ve been involved in a small project and now we’ve done it, I can tell you a little bit more! I’ve been helping out at Hero&Cape’s latest photoshoot for their A/W 2012 range which involved styling and “modelling”. I cringe when I say that word to describe what I’ve been doing, I am in no way under any illusions that I’m a ‘model’, I’m very aware of how far I am from being one! I’m lacking about a foot in height to begin with!! It was a lot of fun but I am one for keeping it realz, and a model I am not! Anyway, for the past two weeks I’ve been helping out with doing that and the photo shoot went really well – I was organised for once! – and the images above are a sneak peak of what’s to come on www.heroandcape.com this month! The new products have not been released on the website yet but when they do, I’ll be able to reveal the designs more! One of the T-Shirt prints is one of my own illustrations, I just can’t wait for it all come together on the Hero&Cape website! I also want to say a quick thank you to Tribeca
who sent me some super high high heels
! I dream of being tall (even googled if there was any miracle to make me grow taller) I can now pretend I’m tall with my new shoes on! x
