Two weeks ago, I was invited to the launch of Jules B latest store opening. I first became aware of the brand over a year ago when they tweeted about an offer on their Mulberry bags and I decided to make my first (and only) Mulberry purchase for a black and gold Tillie Satchel. After a bit of buyer’s remorse, I went back on their website to browse a bit more and to find out further information on Jules B.

I am lucky enough to get invited to events, but not fortunate enough to be able to afford frequent impromptu trips to London. Every now and then, I get opportunities close to where I live and so when I was invited to the Jules B launch and was informed it would be within travelling distance, I made sure I RSVP’d attending! I was asked to cover the launch on my blog and this is the first of three Jules B blogposts. The next post will be about the beautiful clothes and accessories that the brand stocks. For now, though, I will introduce to you the brand and the store.

Even if you’re not living near a boutique, you can enjoy browsing from the website, everything they stock in the shop is also available online. They are based in the north, and have several shops around the area. The latest addition is located in Yarm, an affluent market town in Stockton-On-Tees. The lovely Emma from Jules B invited me along to the launch and I was excited to see the shop and browse the products the brand has got to offer. The decor is trendy and up-to-date, really feminine and fashionable. The checkout counter is gorgeous, and the wall feature quotes from influential individuals within popular culture and fashion industry.

We were shown around the boutique which has two floors and the moment you walk in, you get a real sense of high end fashion all around! Each rail is filled with this season’s collections from some of the best designers such as McQ by Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood, Lulu Guinness, and Moschino’s Cheap and Chic line. I felt like squeeling like Carrie Bradshaw when I walked round and spotted the shoe section. It is like walking in to a massive walk-in wardrobe! I wanted to try everything on! I will feature some of my favourite items in my next Jules B blog post. For the evening, I wore a tunic from Topshop, biker jacket from ASOS, jewellery from my shop, and my Mulberry bag.

Fashions fade, style is eternal.” -Yves Saint Laurent
