I am one of those girls who are very picky about perfume and I am rarely impressed with fragrance samples that are chosen by someone else. I like sweet and fruity smells, youthful and feminine but not too mature and not overly dominated by woody or musky notes. Penhaligon’s Artemisia is a lovely scent and embodies all the things I love in a perfume. When I looked on the website to find out more about the fragrance, I realised why I loved it so much.
The top notes were nectarine and green foliage with hints of green apple, lily petals, jasmine tea, violet and honeyed-vanilla with a touch of amber, oakmoss, sandalwood and musk though of course, this is not too over-powering. It’s such a gorgeous smell, really girly and floral. I know it is difficult to imagine the smell of it with just a description but if I had to compare it with a popular fragrance, I would liken it to Miss Dior. Artemesia comes in two sizes, the 50ml cost £68.00 and the 100ml retails at £95.00. The full size bottle of Artemisia is GORGEOUS as you can see below, it is a clear glass with a pretty pink grosgrain bow at the top. The sample packaging itself had instantly drawn me in with it’s a gorgeous shade of dirty pink AND it has unicorns all over it!
GROWN is an Australian brand that have been featured in Vogue and Grazia, the brand is exclusive to Brummells and they were keen to introduce this to me because they had seen my reviews of organic and natural beauty product review and knew I’d been keen to try this and tell my lovely blog readers about it. It feels amazing to use a product knowing that it’s from a brand who emphasizes the importance of natural and fine quality ingredients. I admit that I need a push in the right direction when it comes to finding these brands but once I find it, I’m a loyal customer and if the product is amazing, then I will shout about it from the roof tops. Although I know not everyone can afford to pay a little extra for organic products, I do recommend treating yourself every now and then to some body and skin care essentials, whether this is cleanser, bath products, a face cream or a tube of lip balm. In this case, it’s hand cream and the price start from £14.00 for a 65ml tube which is not an unusual price for a luxury brand. It’s a reasonable price for something that is special and unique.
The brains behind the GROWN brand are two brothers, Jeremy and Jeston Mujis. The products were designed after a close friend of the Mujis was diagnosed with cancer and they made it a mission to create products that she could use without having a reaction. Therefore, GROWN products are made from 100% organic ingredients and is made to create the best results for your skin to avoid allergic and toxic reactions.
This hand cream pictured above is scented Vanilla and Orange Peel. I’m really surprised at how subtle it smells! I know some people are a bit iffy with orange scented products – after all, a real orange smell will linger on for hours. The cream is light and silky and it isn’t sticky or greasy at all, but leaves the skin soft and hydrated. Although it is labelled as a hand cream, you can use this all over the body or massaged on to feet. There’s a lot of goodness in this product including antioxidant from various ingredients such as wheatgerm and rosehip oil. It also contains Aloe Vera and Omega 3 and 6. Like any products like this that contains a lot of rich ingredients, you only need to apply a little bit for it to nourish your hands completely – so although the price of the 65ml tube might put some people off, I would say that it probably lasts several months! I will keep you posted and let you know when this is all used up.

wow it seems to be veery good. vanilla is the best <3

Owh the handcream sounds gorgeous. I am a sucker for luxury organic brands, and don't have a problem with the price tag that comes with it. You really do get what you pay for. This brand still seem quite affordable, and they've gone the extra mile with the extra details of packaging etc. They've definitely got my vote!
Great review lovey xx
I love anything vanilla and this looks like no exception. The branding as well is really attractive. Will check it out, thanks. SX
The packaging for these products is absolutely beautiful, I especially love the unicorns on the perfume bottle! Although I don't often buy 'high end' products, I do occasionally and it's so nice receiving packages like this in the mail. It really feels like you're treating yourself! The hand cream sounds lovely, I personally love orange scented products.
